I can get started because any click goes to the premium purchase offer. It asked me how many plants I had but only let me upload one. Useless for a beginner
Planty is a great app, and very easy to use and setup. However, for a paid app it should offer a bit more in the way of tracking and customizing. At the very least there should be a way to update the photo of your plant without deleting the plant from your garden and starting over again. Even if it didn’t keep the old photo logged, updating the picture as your plant grows would be nice. Some more features like adding your own notes to a plant (to track repotting, fertilizers, etc) would be great.
Great app for what it currently does, but with a paid option it should really be able to offer more customization.
Great
I started using this app about a year ago because it charged me without me really wanting to commit to that.
Needless to say, it’s been an awful experience. I tried emailing customer service or support so many times for so many different issues. Even used their “report issue” when it was happening and till this day NO ONE has ever responded to any of my communication.
The app also never “reminds” me of what plants need watering. Pretty useless if you ask me.
I love plants, but I do not have a green thumb so I need this app to help me out. I think I’m doing the right thing, but I’m not and my plants are suffering. This app is going to make me into a gardener.
Thank you
This looks like a great app. I have a lot of plants that I need more information on! I appreciate what information this plant might supply!
I love this app!! Helps me with all aspects of my garden!
I’m just started nothing to review
It forces you to pay but what I read said it was free
Nice idea, but not worth the money. I have been trying to cancel my subscription but there is no "home" button or search or a way to cancel. So... the payments keep coming out of my account. It's a scam, in my opinion.
I downloaded and used this app for a total of 5 minutes to identify some plants, got to identify 3, before being totally shut out of every single feature in the app unless I follow the consistent and annoying prompt to subscribe and pay monthly or weekly for this. I understand having a “premium” version, we all gotta make money but aside from the ridiculous pricing, there is NO free version at all. After using just that one identification feature 3 times, I now can’t add a single plant, can’t use the diagnosing feature, can’t use or set up a watering schedule because it won’t let me add a single plant. At that point just charge people to download the app because it’s extremely pointless for people like me who genuinely need and are looking for a free plant care app because they can’t afford to sling money wherever. Woulda saved my time if this was advertised correctly because it makes less sense to me to download an app I cannot use in any sense without throwing in some money regularly. So to sum it up, no part of this is free. You get to try out a single feature of your choosing for a couple moments then you have to PAY a subscription to use ANY part of the app at all. So great for money-bags who don’t have to worry about where they spend their money, not-so-great for the countless people who are struggling and just trying to practice some self-care through plant-care.
Came up for free but only free for 3 days.
Terrible app. Diagnosis was very vague and plant identification was always inaccurate. Terrible product
Between ticking off each item as watered, you have to wait for a five second animation of that item filling up with water before you can proceed to the next item.
Sometimes I will go outside and just water five things really quickly. I'd like to just go back to the app and tap five times to tick them off and move on with my day, instead I have to stop and wait for the silly animation to complete for every plant.
I purchased this app
So far I have identified a plant that I didn’t plant
I am having trouble with the small icons
What is the icon of a bunch of different blocks
Also the small crown
And finally the horizontal lines
Nothing happens when I tap on them
Thank you

not free in any way shape or form. Can't even use it without subscribing. Loaded with ads.
After paying for the year- I noticed the app glitching and removing some of my plants randomly. I would have to reset , delete , reinstall. Many of the plants were identified inaccurately and there was no way to discuss with any support personnel! There are way better apps available that work better and are cheaper!!!!
Just what I needed for free!
Was nice to quickly identify a plant we saw in Amsterdam. Worked quickly and well
Error message every time I try to load it.
This app looks like it would be great but everytime I try to add a plant it says “oops something went wrong!” I’m really excited to try this app but I can’t because of this, I can’t do anything! Please fix!
Great so far
Trying to find out why my plant looks unhealthy, but the app keeps saying something went wrong, then identifies the plant incorrectly. Not helpful at all.
I added a plant that has some spots. When I went to take pictures under diagnose. It wouldn’t let me continue, saying “ups, there’s a problem”. Kind of a turn off, first of all, using the word ”ups” instead of “oops”. Secondly it would be nice to know if it’s an app issue or their way of saying “cant continue until you pay for premium”.
Seems like could be a great app but I get an error every time I try to diagnose a problem.
Very excited to start using the app on this rainy day. Sad that I get the same error message over and over. Opps, something went wrong. Uninstalling and will try again.
Love it. Wish it recommended watering
Doesn’t state that it isn’t a free app… 3 day free trial - no thanks
All apps are free to download. The service is not free!

Passengers criticize American Airlines' incompetent staff, ineffective mobile app, poor customer service, slow baggage handling, uncomfortable seats, and lack of amenities. Some had their luggage lost or delayed, experienced flight cancellations, or were removed from their flights without explanation. However, others appreciate the airline's efficient mobile app, good flights, and caring personnel. Several reviewers vow to switch to other airlines.
