I ordered a mattress pad and received completely different item twice.Even after 3 weeks from ordering, there was no prospect of receiving the correct product, and I spent a lot of effort to return it.Finally, after spending 4 hours, I finally got to talk to a decent person and get my money back.Do not waste your time on this company's text customer support. Despite their name, they are actually useless AI.Warehouse doesn't do a decent job either.I ordered a mattress pad from Walmart instead, and the next day I received a proper cotton mattress pad that felt like a cloud of water proofn.It was really a nightmare. Not recommended.
Others were right. They don’t deserve one star. I tried using this company years ago, when they could actually afford TV commercials. I tried both times and they were out of stock both times. Then Bed Bath & Beyond came back online only. I found out overstock.com bought the company. I decided to try because I know the product was BBB, which I’ve bought before. Order went through and now days later I just get a text. You guessed it…OUT OF STOCK. Why don’t they do themselves a favor and rename the company to outofstock.com. They may hang around for awhile but they will never last. They were already on the verge of bankruptcy.—Not to mention, the former CEO is a likely unindicted co-conspirator of the 4th indictment of Donald J Trump in GA. I don’t like politics involved where I buy sheets and kitchen gadgets!!! What is the current CEO doing? Giving you items that don’t exist and having to recall your order. Talk about a swamp!
Overstock charged me over $100 for returning 6 outdoor chair cushions. The Free shipping only applies if you keep the item not on returning items. If it does not fit, or you don't like the color you are out of luck......this is not Amazon. I will never order anything from Overstock again.
I purchased a set of 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Four months of use and they have pilling all over. Real Egyptian cotton will not pill so I surmise this product was falsely advertised. No more Overstock for me.
Horrible!!! I ordered a set here because it was $30 cheaper than another place. They lost my set after I took off work to deliver it. How do you loose a furniture set?! And then customer service is horrible. Please don’t order from here

What went wrong this time? That question in itself gives the answer. It went wrong as expected.When I read i could get a 25% coupon off my order if I downloaded the app I did that. I must not have seen the small print in order to get coupon. I will immediately cancel the app! I tried to get a hold of someone when I saw my order did not have 25% off. I texted 2 different numbers that said you could reach them by text. They even texted me prior to the order and after. But I got no response other than a specialist will be with me as soon as possible. That was an hour ago. So I Googled the phone number. Of course went through automated questiond but then a specialist will be with you with a wait time of 14 minutes. It was some later I got a" SPECIALIST ". They couldn't give me my discount offer because I placed the order.I have had that happen before with other merchants. No problems. So I told her I wanted to cancel order. She said the order has already been pulled in the warehouse. Ok so they're so backed up or messed up I got no help for over half an hour, but they have the order placed already. To cancel the order would take 1 to 2 business days! So now my money is tied up for at least a week! I'm furious. I kept the order because I wanted what took me hours to pick.. I told her I WOULD NEVER SHOP WITH BED BATH AND BEYOND AGAIN! She tried to give me a 50% off my next order! NEVER AGAIN! I'm calling back tomorrow to speak with a manager. If I can reach one. HA! 🤬🤬🤬
A star is giving Overstock the benefit of the doubt. They ship items from their fulfillment center (errors) that are not what you ordered then when you return it, they charge a return fee. They have customer service in India, which of course brings its own challenges… Poor poor poor. I will not be using overstock for anything ongoing. Bad bad bad experiences. Amazon is the way to go. Hassle free ! Put them out of business
If I could give them zero stars, I would. I bought a fountain a year ago that was guaranteed not to rust. It rusted a lot. I called and spoke to their customer service dept that claimed they would send another one out right away. I'm still waiting.I recently bought a mattress from them and The description of this mattress is totally false. This is the squishiest mattress I have ever laid on and they classify it as "Firm". On top of that, Overstock Customer Service is a joke. They hide the fact that you have to pay to return and if you call, you will get conflicting stories about it's not returnable because it's a mattress and there are no supervisors for the "Mattress Dept" and then suddenly you will be on an eternal hold for a Supervisor and then the agent will claim the "Supervisor" will call you back within 10 mins because Emma's computer crashed and needs to be restarted. No call back. False Advertising, Worst Customer Service
I bought a product twice, after realizing that, I tried contact customer service multiple times right after, I explained my situation, they asked up 2 business days to resolve my cancel request. Next day I received an email saying they can do anything because the order was processed and now I gotta pay shipping costs back !
I ordered a ceiling fan and received it on July 3rd. When I tried to install it I realized it need special wiring Three wires instead of the normal two. I called an electrician and the soonest they could come out was August 5th. When they did arrive they told me it would be $400.00 to rewire the switch. I told them no I will return it and buy a fan that requires 2 wires. When I went to return it I realized I was 3 days over the return policy. I contacted customer service and after an hour explaining my situation they said there wasn’t anything they could do.
Overstock furniture and customer service is horrible. I bought a couple of things from them and they were both defected. The called me approximately 25 times and I could not understand what they were saying. Then they emailed be about 25+ times and the situation was never resolved. I have spoken with approximately 25 different people and they never listen.
STAY AWAY! Poor quality product and horrible return policy from Overstock. The pictures of the furniture in their site looks nothing like actual product. The product comes in damaged with manufacturer defects and their policy is deal with it. After learning of this poor quality, I cancelled a second product that had not been shipped and received confirmation of the cancellation. They still went ahead charged me and shipped the 2nd product days after the cancellation had been submitted and recognized by their website. By the way, their reviews are "selected"...if you submit a bad review on their site about a product you purchase they will not post it.
I've been with Overstock for quite a number of years. They were actually my first card after my divorce. Generous limit with regular increases over the years. I love the items I've purchased. Shipping was a little slower than some other retailers, but it's never been over the inconvenience mark. It's never been a problem. Never had any complaints with customer service. They've always been extremely helpful and have gotten right on any issues. Now here's my gripe.... with all of these great things about the items, customer service, and company as a whole, as soon as they merged with BB&B my Overstock card shows a zero credit limit and a note on my credit file that says "card canceled by credit grantor."I've never been late on ANY credit card or loan and this comment makes me look like someone who doesn't pay their bills. In fact my credit score took a serious nose dive from that comment and the amount of total available credit that just got reduced. There was also no info sent about if they are sending the Overstock rewards visa as a replacement or if there's a BB&B card being sent with the same credit limit as I had previously. I'm under the impression they must not need/want peoples business after this merger as I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. I just went into the BB&B website to see what kind of products they carry.. pricing etc. I think they may be trying to pay for BB&B's bankruptcy because the prices are extremely high compared to Overstock's. In researching, I found the exact same bathroom vanity I was eyeing on BB&B thru Home Depot and the cost at HD was a little under a third of the price! This customer is going with other retailers.
Dear Walmart.com and Overstock.com;I have never experienced worse customer service than I received from you in April of this year. I ordered a rug set for my best friend, who was working on his home. On April 17, 2023, I placed the order in his name so he would be sure to receive it. The package arrived on April 21, 2023 and I realized right away that the color of the rug was not going to work in the room.My friend took the rug back to his local Walmart only to be told that they do NOT take return orders from Walmart.com back as a service to their customers. My friend was informed that he would need to contact Walmart's customer service to contact the 3rd party vendor, who will then contact him. My best friend relayed this information to me since I placed the order and had the information. I emailed Walmart.com on April 24, 2023 at 2:46 pm asking to return the rugs and received my first notice that Overstock.com had been notified that I wanted to return my order.On April 27, 2023 I placed my second request with Walmart.com, where I received the original response in return. Walmart.com did not take the time to send a second request, follow up, or find out why no one from Overstock.com had not taken the time to respond to my request. Out of frustration, I reached out again to Walmart.com on April 28, 2023. I received an updated response that stated Walmart .com had reached out to Overstock.com again on my behalf about this order. By this time, I found the perfect rug for my best friend. The rug was installed and looked great in his newly renovated bathroom. I made a person-to-person plea with Overstock.com and called in to speak with a customer service agent. After ten minutes on hold, I was exhausted with the whole process. DO NOT BUY FROM OVERSTOCK.COM!!!! They completely got me on a bait and switch. I purchased.. I thought I purchased an outdoor folding chair but instead it was a tiny wood table. When looking at my order details it reads... "Folding Wooden Outdoor Chair..." in bold black print. today my order was delivered and when I opened the box, which seemed light, it was just a small side table. I went back to the order details and again, in bold it reads table but now, unbolded and beneath it reads, "Option: Small wood Table". I wish I could attach a screenshot of the listing because it is horrible what they are purposely doing to trick customers into paying for things they did not want. I called them to return the item and they now expect me to pay $25 dollars to return the item.Never give them your money! We work to hard for them to unsult us in this way!UPDATE: JUst saw that overstock.com rebranded to Bed, Bath & Beyond today. when you run your reputation to the ground I guess you have no choice but to chage your identity.

I ordered what I presumed to be a couch for $550 and went with over stock over wayfair because of price ! Worst mistake! The details were vague and I recieved a ottoman !!!!!! I tried to return it and said I cam only ship through them and not anyone else and price is $220 ! Almost half the cost ! I had no help at all from customer service and now I have a product I don't need and needless to say I would never purchase ever again.and seeing the reviews I wish I saw these earlier to gave saved this money for the couch I assumed I was buying ! Never again

I bought an interior exterior rug for my deck six weeks ago. The colors completely faded I called and they told me there’s nothing they can do about it. It’s out of its warranty of return. What a joke this place is.. all garbage and no return on a 6 week old rug?????

07-2023We ordered a 10’ x 10’ - 5’ high with chain-link and door Dog Kennel With Roof to house two dogs needing outdoor secure arrangement.What a nightmare with over a month of back and forth “conversation” as to when the delivery would be completed. We cancelled order due to lack of complete delivery.We Will NEVER Order ANYTHING From OVERSTOCK AGAIN ! ! !
I bought a white rug only to have a light blue one delivered. The rug was 68.00 but when I returned it because of the color, I received only 9.00 for the return- without stating the price for shipping cost of return anywhere - they charged 59.00 for label.This is yet another example of their unfair policy and practice. Do Not buy from this company. BTW - they wouldn't publish my review - it was simply these words, not abusive.
I would give 0 stars if I could. We ordered a low loft bed with storage on July 2. The delivery was due on July 7. We have received 3 out of 4 boxes, which were delivered over the last two weeks. We cannot get the final box, which is the main section of the bed. When you reach customer service, they read you a script that notes they “have escalated” and are “making it a high priority”. We went with Overstock over Wayfair to save $100. So not worth it. Wayfair ships on time. I had no idea how bad Overstock’s ratings were until I came to the site to write the review. It’s at 1.4 stars out of 5. What happened to Overstock? It was once a respected retailer. Now it’s a scam.
We ordered a dining room set and was told that it was damaged in transit, so they would not be delivering it to us. Later that day, the damaged item shows up at my house. I contact them, and they tell me that they are sending a replacement. The replacement comes and one box is part of the table and the other box is a filing cabinet. at this rate I just want a refund and they said that I have to send both items back before I can get my refund and they will schedule a pick up by UPS. They said UPS has three attempts to pick up the item and we will go from there. UPS comes and they said they only have a label for one box so they take one box and leave the other box with us. Three other attempts and UPS refuses to take the perfectly intact box back. I keep contacting customer service and all they keep doing is saying they will schedule another pick up and once the item is back then I will get my refund. Well it’s been over a month and UPS won’t take the box for some reason and they keep going in circles. This is absolutely ridiculous and I’m out $300 with NO product for their mistake.
In a world where customer experience and efficiency has become an expectation, Overstock clearly lacks against its competitors. I ordered two items and within a couple hours reached our to CS to cancel. I was told they can't cancel because FedEx already has the items. I then called FedEx and reviewed the order status and both told me they haven't been picked up and are just sitting in the warehouse. I then went back to Overstock and they never cancelled my orders nor gave me assurance for a free return even though nothing has been shipped, it's just sitting in the warehouse. This is absolutely terrible experience, mind you I spend 4.5 hours on phone calls between four different Overstock reps and FedEx. Never again will be shopping here.
I ordered a 5 piece outdoor set from Overstock. I received all the chairs, but the little coffee table never arrived. I contacted the company and they sent ANOTHER 5 piece set...so I could get the table and call them to send the chairs back for a refund=stupid waste of shipping but okay. The second set was shipped=incomplete AGAIN. This company is so incompetent I am shocked. So I about to raise hell again.
I am extremely disappointed in the 2 Christopher Knight Adirondack chairs and table bought at Overstock. There is no way to contact customer service with Overstock to discuss the problem. After putting the furniture together it was placed outside in the sitting area. Within 5 weeks the furniture was very discolored and worn looking. The colors were faded looking and inconsistent. I have pictures but there is no where to upload here. I am further upset as I recommended these products and 3 friends actually bought the chairs.
Paid for items that were apparently drop shipping from a 3rd party vendor. That vendor printed a label with a destination county of Central Africa (I'm in US) and never turned the package over to USPS. They refuse to refund because it is up to their 3rd party vendor if they will refund. Vendor won't refund unless I return items they never shipped. 3 days so far of excuses, delays, and refusal to either ship correctly or refund. Now I just want a refund.
One star is rating them too high! Worst return policy ever. I paid $272 for a rug and rug pad, which were shipped in separate packages. To return the items, they requested $62 shipping for the rig, $40 for the rug pad, because they were going to separate warehouses. I never even opened them! I asked for a supervisor and there were “none in the building.” I ordered two rugs the same day from rugs.com and they sent a return label, no questions asked, no return shipping.
Overstock claimed to have shipped my product 29 days ago with a company of ill repute. Of course it arrived damaged and I refused delivery, but now Overstock needs 3-4 to review, and magically during my text chat online and phone call, no mangers are available, even though I let them put me on hold multiple times during a 20 min span in attempt to reach one. It was the same ploy the one and only other time I ordered through this company. Now I have no product and no refund, and no supervisor who can address this issue properly !!!
I ordered a larger item--a bookshelf/ etagerie from Overstock for $190. A few days went by and I decided I didn't need the item. It hadn't shipped, so I put in a cancel request. The next day, Overstock informed me that the order couldn't be cancelled. When the shelf arrived, I immediately opened a return. The next day Overstock informed me that they would deduct $81.97 in shipping to return my item. I checked with FedEx, which is the shipper they used, and FedEx quoted me $70 in return shipping. I am just going to keep the shelf and hope for the best, but I would not buy from this company again.
I ordered two chairs. They sent me one. I contacted them TWICE to get that resolved, and then a month later they charged me for the replacement chair. I still have yet to get that resolved despite contacting customer service twice.
My wife ordered a three-piece quilt set and the set was advertised as a queen size but actually was sized for a twin bed. She called to return it and was told the return label was $21.53 and to return it and she would have the remainder credited back to her credit card.Lo and behold, Overstock charged her $15.00 because the item has been discounted since she purchased it. She called to dispute that and was on the phone with three different customer reps, who do not speak English well,trying to have this corrected.Overstock is reluctant to correct the problem so she will dispute it with the credit card company and they won't be paid at all DO NOT BUY FROM OVERSTOCK.COM.Their products and policies are poor.
The new table set is amazing. It came in about a week or so but most importantly it came in perfect condition and the set up and assembly was easy.
Garbage cust service managers---loss prevention cancelled my order without confirming w me if the order was legit. After I called them and resolved, the cust service manager could not give me the promo price that I had in the original order. Do not purchase from them---try wayfair or any other company, lol.
My order never arrived and yet on the status page it says it was shipped When I traced the shipping FedEx has my order shipped signed in another country proving I never received it …. Last time I deal with them now trying to get a hold of company to find out why my order which clearly has my address on it ended up in America at another address …. I just placed an order on overstock.com. It is July 1, 2023. I received an email stating that my delivery date is August 3, 2023 one month to ship two chairs. I attempted to cancel this order within 7 minutes of receiving the shipping info. No One was available at Overstock. I received text communication at 4:19 am from a rep at Overstock. They informed me that there was a “30 minute cancelation window” that I missed!!I missed the window, because Overstock had NO REPS ONLINE!! Overstock is a scheme, Overstock is a ripoff. Overstock is a blatant scam company!! Do not, I repeat, do not buy from overstock.com. This company is only out to take your money and leave you sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst customer service ever. $36.42 is all I asked for. A rug that was lost in shipping. Says it's still in progress after 3 months. Can't seem to get anyone at the company to understand.
If I could I wouldn’t give even one star. Waiting for rug 6 weeks. Rug was very poor quality and smell. I returned the rug and I was charged $50 for label that I have to printed! Joke! Not recommend
