  • Security lapse could have been serious

    For the first time I had a scary experience in this hotel. I was fortunately fully dressed at 10 pm when a man used a key to enter my room. He thought he was checked in correctly but of course apologised and left. Apparently I had been checked out in error. If I had been a woman I would have called the police. The hotel explanation was on was a mistake. Unfortunately as a result I cannot recommend the hotel which is as others say in need of a big upgrade.

  • The location and room are nice, but the property is under repair and construction

    The room was nice, the view from my room was good too, and the hotel has a nice restaurant near the reception. But remember that the hotel is far from city center, and the closest tram station is at least 10 mins' walk. RSM is close and that was my reason to stay at this hotel. Also, while I was staying the hotel was undergoing repairs, only two out to four lifts were working thus it took more than 10 mins for the lift to show up on my floor.

  • Great stay (3 nights)

    This is our preferred hotel in Rotterdam. Breakfast is amazing for the whole family: many healthy choices ! The hotel is located near a free park & ride; which allows you to be in the city center quickly. Unfortunately, you have to pay now for the parking (post covid measure)

  • Comfortable two night stay on outskirts of Rotterdam

    Comfortable and good sized room, good choice for breakfast and reasonably priced restaurant for dinner. Helpful and pleasant staff. Well located close to the motorway in university/business park location. Car park is payable.

  • Service could be improved. Large rooms

    The reception manager (only one not wearing a uniform) was rather unhelpful. Asked for a quiet room and could not care less, didn't even try to move me. Staff in general not welcoming. Typical Dutch service ie "take it or leave it". Only exception was at breakfast were I got great food allergy service.

  • Poor staff communication

    I stayed at the novotel for 8 nights. Rooms are ok but the staff are so rude and ignorant. Breakfast is 20 euro and insnt worrh it can't even do a fried egg or mushrooms even tho they are on the picture. I would not stay here again

  • Good for families

    We traveled with children (11 and 8 years old). The room was very clean and organized. The room service cleaned it every day which was great. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options for the kids. They enjoyed it. The location is good and we drove to Keukenhof garden, Rotterdam Zoo and Beekse Bergen Safari Park. The staff was always very helpful and nice. The parking place is big and outdoor. Make sure to ask for the tickets at the reception. We will choose it again ☺️

  • Great hotel! Great staff! Go there!

    We are a family of three and were the second time in this nice hotel. It is not only that the rooms are great and the hotel is ideally located for a trip to Rotterdam, it is the people! There are always smiles, space for talks and a great understanding of hospitality and generousness. We will soon come back. Thank you!

  • Novotel Rotterdam

    Good service and quality. Perfect location not far from the centrum that can be reach via the metro 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Close to Rotterdam Eramus university. Hotel service and attention excellent.

  • Meant for uni stay

    Simple neat hotel. Stayed there for over 15 days. Was visiting my son at Erasmus university. The hotel is located very close. The room in itself was cosy. Very comfortable bed. Could do with a bit of closet space as very little space to put the clothes away. Good view from the hotel and decent heating. Meals very also decent - did not take the breakfast at the hotel. So don’t know about that.
