Takes way too long to load and connect to vehicle. GPS should be real time even while driving. Thereâs just so many things that is lacking with this app. Audi makes tons of money but canât give a little funds to make this app easier, user friendly and add a bunch of options. Might want to take at MercedesGo app. Way faster in talking to vehicle from app
Decent app, but map server wonât load charging station information.
With the last version, the app gives âerror for searching for charging stationsâ error while trying to find and add station to the route planner. Please have a look and fix it. This is a key part of an EV functionality. If Iâm not able to add chargers to my route what is the point of having the electric vehicle, route planner, and gps package anyways? December 23 Update: the error for finding chargers went away for few days but its been there again for weeks. It seems like the app canât connect to a mapping server. It is amazing to see these issues in 2023 for a luxury car. So, there has been no fix to this important issue. The error that prevents using the app from finding charging stations is: ânetwork error: a server with the specified hostname could not be foundâ.
Now when I try to use the Apple Watch app, I get a âyour vehicle is not suppprtâ message. It has worked since I bought the car in 2021. It was a nice app with the only exception that I could not remotely start my car.
50% of the time the app receives an error from the Audi servers. Very unclear why. The app works OK otherwise, but should be streamlined more so all important things like locking status are shown without scrolling or opening submenus or sliding tab. App could be much smarter and a bit more responsive. For example, clicking on a lock status symbol should take you directly to the lock/unlock page, or simply ask you if you wish to lock unlock. The app could also notify users if they leave the car unlocked. My Tesla app rarely had connection problems, and would lock automatically when I left the car which was far more convenient.
App constantly has an error when trying to load the charge page and charger lookup location .
