  • Good stay!

    Recently we stayed one night at the Victoria. A very quite place, almost alone in the woods. The room is o.k., although the furniture may be a little oldish. Space enough and clean as well. COVID is handled great, we enjoyed a good diner at our room, the breakfast was o.k. and due to the quantity became lunch as well!

  • Great stay

    Nice quiet and calm compound with lots of green all around. Service is good and personnel is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a bit old and need some improvement and cleaning. We had a comfort room and we made use of the sauna. The is ample parking space inside the property.

  • Avoid at all times

    We went here with a group of friends. We got a dirty hotel room. We told the staff, said they would clean it. We got back, nothing happened. Later they did it after we asked, and left bleach and a dirty cleaning towel. We complained several times. I send an email a week ago, havent heard back.

  • Very disappointing

    I worked for this hotel when it was part of the golden tulip chain and it was simply amazing having good memories i decided to take my wife there for 2 nights relaxation but i was very disappointed with the standard and the service the location still remains amazing though.

  • Expected more than this.

    Overall it wasn’t bad at all but not more than mediocre, save the beautiful environment. The room was clean but needed some renovation, the pub food was nothing special apart from the high prices but the restaurant food was good and worth the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. In the end I expected more from a four star hotel.

  • Nice surroundings

    Nice surroundings. Poor room cleaning service. Had to ask for spare pillow. Tissue box in bathroom was empty. Only one bath towel given after first day. Bed not made on second day and poor attempt after that. Room with outside patio okay but could not leave door open at night. Didnt have another window that opened and no air con. Plus side was the breakfast was ok and staff pleasant.

  • a good place for biking and hiking in and around the National "Hoge Veluwe".

    Hi guys, The room was nice. Not very big, but adequate. A nice room for a small price. Beds are very comfy. We slept well. There is a fridge in the room. Carpet on the floor. There are a lot of bikes for rent. Breakfast was good, but expensive. The grounds are beautiful, a rural atmosphere. Regards schliek.

  • Substandard for 4* hotel

    This place is 4* rated, but it really isn't. Negative score: only 1 towel in a 2p room, no bathmat on a cold bathroom floor. No coffee/tea in the room, no minibar, no night light (pitch-dark at night). But there are also positive elements: very friendly staff, great bar, beautiful location with many facilities and great value for money. I guess they should be downgraded to a 3*

    the best place for biking around national park. stuff so friendly and helpful. kids have nice stay and can use many facilities. close to main national park attractions. easy bike rental service. place amazing for families, service was so good ..

  • In the middle of nature

    This hotel has rooms spread out in different buildings surrounded by forest. Pro: excellent wifi, small indoor and outdoor pool, very quiet. Very convenient to visit Apenheul or Hoge Veluwe. Cons: upstairs rooms have to be reached by spiral staircases, which is not easy with luggage. No airco, no ventilator, and that made it very hot in the room. No coffee facilities.
