Customers have mixed reviews about the Home Depot app and service. Some praise the app for making shopping easier and for the excellent customer service. However, others criticize the app for technical glitches, difficulty in applying military discounts, and inconsistent item availability for curbside pickup. Others express frustration about delivery charges and bait-and-switch tactics. Overall, the store's wide selection, in-stock inventory, and helpful staff are still preferred by many shoppers.

Really surprised at how easy it was to order some tools that werenāt in stock at the store. I look forward to picking them up soon!
I use these in my red neck air filter (20x20 box fan with filter taped on the input side. They work great, remove lots of dust, are easy to service and very cost effective.
Poor app, Iām sure itās Home Depotās fault. Their website is just as bad.
New homeowner so I want this to work.
Seems I have to verify every time I open the app on my own iPhone 13. Not even to buy anything but to follow a link from the Home Depot website that opens in App.
Shopping for Items, in the photo stream, the videos arenāt supported by the browser. But Iām in the Home Depot app!
Please fix the add a receipt function in the pro section. I try to add a receipt and the spinning wheel never stops and the receipt doesnāt add to my account.
Brian was fabulous in helping me with this purchase! He went above and beyond to help me and to make sure I was satisfied. Did not rush me.
Wonāt let you log in, reloaded it and have latest app version on iPhone. Doesnāt even use facial recognition for login but populates the information automatically into create account page!!! Couldnāt use app at store today or get veterans discount because employee said he would get in trouble doing it the old way⦠ID. You should do like Lowes!
Easy to find what I need online and on bulkier products, often free home delivery is an option. Saves me a trip down to the store to pick up products. Very convenient!
Easy app to use.
5/5 stars staff a store is outstanding with services
Excellent service very friendly staff.
Great prices
Curb side pickup is awesome.
I used to use lowes quite a lot.
Not anymore.
From now on itās only Home Depot.
Ordered a lawnmower and accessories for curbside pickup and was forced to download the app to let them know I arrived. The app got stuck in an error loop and so it did not work at all for what I needed. App will be deleted immediately
Would not allow me to use my personal credit card when placing the order. Had to put it on my card
Iām so glad I downloaded the app, it makes it so much easier to shop! Thank you for making it available!
Also, I would love to have the option to have the OS auto fill my fields.
This app works so much better then it did even 1 year ago now with more useful lists, the ability to review a record of past purchases, better handling of in store pickup purchases, and streamlined QR code verified checkout for the military discount (unlike the awkward need to get a sales person to check your ID like Loweās requires).
I love this store. Everyone is so nice. The service is fast and the store is always clean
-Missing Apple Pay
-Better pickup process. Should not NEED a photo ID to pick up something purchased. Everybody else uses codes.
-Military discount for non-proās should not cap out. Especially so low.
Makeās shopping there easy
The have a tendency to to shop you the wrong thing
I stated dilvery was free until I tried to pay. Then there was a $45 delivery charge. It seem like a bait and switch deal plus the amount of time went from 5 to 10 days. It ea scam if you do not have time.
Experience was great but the system does not allow to get military discount when purchasing online through the app
Love this Home Depot always have everything in stock for me. Best customer service ever thank you.
Iām logged into the appā¦add items to cartā¦proceed to check outā¦promoted to login againā¦app doesnāt recognize the email that I am already logged in with. But I can go to my desktop and place an order with the same account info just fine.
Caught product on sale. Impressed that online purchase also automatically applied military discount! What a great deal! Thanks
Kimberly in customer service was so patient and diligent in helping us place our order. Thank you Kimberly!
Hudson, Wi and Mpls. ( New Brighton Blvd) Very happy with customer service and truck rental options
I needed help ordering the correct paint, Erin was polite and knowledgeable, picked up and mixed paint quickly, very positive shopping experience
Iāve tried to order same item in multiple locations that say item is in stock only to have it cancelled because there is no physical stock on hand. Three locations already.
