Wonât let me rent any Airbnb for restrictions and policies reasons
Good luck if something goes wrong. Absolute worst experience ever trying to get them to help. We ended up stranded with nowhere to stay and they could care less. Horrible morals.
I love this app and overall concept. Thank you
Very good
Great app, but the product is too mainstream now. You can get better deals on hotels without the absurd cleaning fee and service fee charge that the host and Airbnb impose. Also good luck to you if you expect a smooth experience with their virtual gift cards. If by chance they arenât delivered, youâre gonna have a horrendous time getting your money back.
The app is good. But itâs probably no longer relevant wrt getting you a great experience during a trip.
Worst business in the world. They donât help they customer or answer the phone
Latest update ruined apps functionality. Instead of being able to quickly find what I want, Airbnb no longer allows certain sorting such as by entire place or shared room, having a private bath (not attached to a room), etc.
What a waste of time.
poor service
Booked an Air Bnb on Boracay island in Philippines. Was denied entry at the port because you need a confirmed booking at an accredited hotel. So I had to book a hotel after traveling for 24hrs which cost me an additional $1000usd. The host is aware of this because he lives on the island and in the apartment he is hosting. Yet he refused to even communicate with me. Air Bnb is aware the host is illegally hosting, and refusing refunds to guests who book and are turned away at entry. So the host and Air Bnb have teamed up to literally steal your money. Iâve reached out to support about this twice and they just say âsorry, but itâs the host decisionâ.
They donât care about you, only your money.
Recently i had reviewed my case for my travel to paris and an unforeseen has happen and everything went smoothly in return host behaved in a good way and responded for a 5 star review and in return he put a negative review which i asked mr Sergio G. To remove it as it was wrongly highlighted but due to an in capable person whole airbnb and a customer like us has to suffer
Please airbnb support team look into the matter and help asap
Really looking forward for the positive feedback
Thank you
Esto no es seguro, no lo utilize en el extranjero adonde no conozca es muy peligroso no ofrece seguridad, cuidado con los bnb en RepĂşblica Dominicana lo digo por experiencia estos sitios.
So I had a serious issue and damages happen to my property on my visit. I opened up a Resolution case back in January to try to resolve the issue, it is now May and no response . And itâs just a bunch of people from call centers transferring you to different departments and saying they will follow up. Save yourself the hassle and stay at a safe hotel.
They will not resolve any issue. Iâve called them over 40 times now.
My first airbnb was fantastic the host was amazing. I was using Airbnb because of a friend of mine. The second host/s Sylvester and Marek in Trenton NJ were unprofessional and terrible, the rental was rushed, the bed was terrible and cheap and they were very hostile when I requested a partial refund. This was just my second airbnb rental and I will never use Airbnb again. They only seem to value the hosts over the customer. I will switch to Vrbo from now on!
I have previously stayed at two different hosts and been a user for 2 years. Recently, I took a trip to Robbinsville, NC and the stay was full of bugs and dust. As much as I felt bad for writing my honest review while celebrating our 6 year anniversary with my partner. We felt very uncomfortable of our stay due to the bugs and wasnât able to shower, had sleepless nights as I found one of the bugs being a huge black ant crawling on me while I was laying on the bed. I kindly let the host know and her husband came to spray some pesticides. I took pictures and videos of bugs ranging from black ants to flies to microscopic spiders to a stink bug and lastly, my partner stepped on a roach in the bathroom. We have a huge phobia of bugs and it was just disgusting. I was very unsatisfied with the stay and contacted support about it. Airbnb somehow miscommunicated with the host saying I wanted a FULL refund while I told them I was okay with a half or partial refund. Host did not take it well and replied to my review with almost completely false information. Yes, I did ask if I could check in early but it was so wrong for her to unprofessionally assume I wanted a freebie all along and to watch out for me? That felt completely discriminatory and she even went to disclose that I left blood soaked shorts by the bed which werenât even mine? I canât believe that I was even sleeping and breathing in the same air of those blood soaked shorts next me not knowing about it and mainly bugs being my roommates. Dust was all over the cabinets, lamp shade etc too. Host didnât even clean the place properly then, didnât apologize once, and refused to give me a partial refund. Airbnb didnât do much for me and makes this whole company shady, untrustworthy. I sent proof and everything with no luck. I have been a very respectful person of other hostâs stays. Itâs time to delete this app and might just stay at a nicer hotel next time from now on. Airbnb doesnât have your back! Kelly, the Host makes you feel like a crybaby if you have a phobia of insects.
I booked a reservation at Seattle. It was horrible experience that my second using the app. It is their job to make sure the listing were safe for the client but they don't when i come the house. The house almost falling apart and dangerous neighborhood. I saw a group of people next to the house not very nice, they chase at me when i got there. I have to take off immediately without looking back i called for support and refused to reimbursed for their troubles. I haven't had a chance to live there. The host refused to give me refund. Such hassle book thought airbnb. I would rather pay more for Hyatt.
Why canât I see only pet friendly options? Not user friendly at all
Last weekend we booked an Airbnb in Prague for my family (2 kids my wife and I) for 3 nights.
Our Airbnb was cancel at the last minute⌠we call them to get help, what they do:
*Want us to pay more than âŹ1500 for the 3 nights despite that we paid âŹ280 for the previous department.
*Air cover they gave us a wonderful cupon of âŹ10 for the next flat that we want to book.
*Not answer on time and mood.
*They literally told us is your problem now fix it.
Buyer beware:
If a host cancels on you and causes damages to your vacation plan, AirBnB will penalize the host and pocket 100% of the penalty without offering you ANY compensation to you for any losses you incurred.
Good
If you value your safety and want to enjoy your stay, donât use Airbnb!
Their whole procedure is just for the benefit of the host and themselves, and to cheat as many customers as they can!!!!
I had driven fours hours for a trip to find out after connecting to service that my host canceled, because I didnât respond to her message asking when Iâd be there. My profile is verified, I have two good reviews from other hosts and a profile picture. She said the reviews were from last year. Donât be an airbnb host if you are going to ruin peopleâs travels plans due to your paranoia.
Airbnb needs to take some responsibility when it comes to cities that ban airbnbs.
I recently used this app in a city where the legality of an Airbnb was contingent upon certain criteria - a recent stay I had involved unnecessary stress, mainly due to messaging from the host trying to keep things on the down low and questions regarding upset neighbors.
There are a lot of pros to Airbnb, a lot of good listings and wonderful hosts, and Iâve had some good experiences.
But as far as legality and what that can do to a neighborhood (and even just an experience/stay), Airbnb needs to take responsibility.
We love staying in short term rentals when we travel, but it is well past time for check out times to revert back to a more reasonable 11:00am or noon, versus the extra early check out times (10 am where we are staying now) originally justified by the need to do extra sanitizing because of Covid. You canât tell me anyone is still doing that extra cleaning. Actually, itâs pretty obvious that they arenât.
The app is getting worse and worse as they integrate more animation and cartoon gifs while doing basic functions like type of apartment, among other things. I can see why Apple has a market cap of $2 trillion because they donât do this and things are just designed cleanly. Sometimes I think Airbnb is still run by two guys in the garage who are doped up 24/7.
For months every time I look at the Airbnb app, a red notification dot appears on the icon with no actual messages or notifications within the app. Airbnb suggests to log out, then log back in to resolve this error. That method works, but then it comes back over and over again. After multiple app updates the glitch is still there, so I just deleted the app. đ¤ˇđťââď¸
They will steal your money be careful my money is supposedely on hold and nobody can give a simple answer
But you have no clue
Iâve been an air bnb user for years. I always heard of bad experiences, and watched the ridiculous fees raise during this time.
It wasnât until I had rented an air bnb in San Carlos that I had the worst experience, and Air BNB did nothing to help.
The house we rented was old, and had various things broken i.e. the towel rack. It also listed it had six beds when in fact it only had three. Nevertheless, we were like whatever.
Until the window frame and the window fell out of the door. The neighbor who claimed to be the daughter of the host, lied to the police and said we were fighting and slamming doors all day. When in fact, we were out of the house most of the day and were being quiet for a party town. The Mexican police came, threatened to take a young girl to jail. The host then calls us, screams at us and tells us to leave. We were forced to unsafely sleep on the streets because all of the hotels were booked.
Anyways, we tried to contact air bnb this whole time and no one got back to us. The company Air BNB actually TOOK DOWN our honest review, warning others that this house is a scam. Air BnB controls the reviews of places, in order to continue making money. Iâll be taking my money to VRBO and hotels from now on.
I do not recommend using Air Bnb.
I have had the same email for over 20 years and when I enter it it tells me it is not a valid email. I am sure some other bandb will want me to make reservations.
