  • Ironically true, but not helpful for beginners

    Well I feel dumber for having bought this so maybe ironically, it did it's job. The book doesn't do as good a job explaining PowerBI as other topics in the For Dummies multiverse. This is probably the worst one of the 5 that I have. It lists a multitude of DAX formulas but I have no idea how to use them and it doesn't thoroughly explain how to write them.

  • I hope there is a better one

    Author directs you to files that do not exist in his download. Also, very wordy. Just get to the point of teaching how to use power bi. I really don't need an explanation of the difference between a data engineer and data analyst.

    Book content is useful. Book quality not so great. Pages are kind of like newspaper, so when highlighting important topics, there is a lot of bleed through.

  • Too Much "What is Data Analysis" Not Enough "This is how to use Power BI"

    The first four chapters are about What is Data Analytics. I already know what it is, I want to teach myself do program in Power BI.
