This case is great if you donât like bulky cases and want some form of protection. This case also has very good MagSafe strength so you can feel safe using it with a car mount or using MagSafe accessories such as a wallet or battery pack etc the texture of the aramid fiber along with the design feel really good in the hands.
So my natural inclination was to go for the full coverage pitaka case (MagEZ Case pro 4). I ordered it right after I put in my pre-order for the 15 pro max. The metal buttons and mag safe compatibility were the big selling points functionally⌠and the aramid fiber pattern would suffice aesthetically if I was going to cover up the really beautiful new iPhone chassy. As much as I wanted to rock the thing naked - it just isnât âgrabbyâ enough for me to feel comfortable whipping it in and out of my pocket. So I got the MagEZ pro and was very satisfied, but an email from PITAKA announcing that the MagEZ case (non-pro) was officially available caught my attention. The fact that they were advertising it as the thinnest, lightest case available was interesting enough but it wasnât that which made me buy a SECOND case from the SAME company in the span of 3 weeks. What made me a two timing son of a gun was⌠in fact⌠seeing the phone itâs self shining through while in the âthinnest, lightestâ vessel ever crafted by humankind (âŚallegedly). The silver iPhone buttons (I refuse to say Titanium⌠this thing is Silver and there ainât nothing wrong with that) flashing like a bead adorned dame on Beale street during Mardi Gras made me reach out that index finger and slam it down on the ever so poetic âbuy it nowâ button. And here we are. Two cases⌠only one problem: I donât know which one I like more.
The cases provide a surprising amount of protection with all sides covered, as well as a raised camera section and lip on the front so your camera and screen wonât get scratched when placed on a table. Despite clearly being about half the case that the Pro is, the MagEZ case provides me the grip for peace of mind when handling it (which I apparently do for an unhealthy amount of time according to a long-ago disabled screen time function. Donât shame me for enjoying your product, APPLE)
So which ever way you go ⌠I think you are going to wind up feeling good about the protection the case provides. If you are an over the top protective soldier in the phone wars, prone to using an otter box or pelican case, go for the magEz pro. Itâs not as bulky as the ones I just mentioned but I would put it up against either in a true drop test or handling contest. If you want a case that provides just enough protection to keep your screen intact but simultaneously allows you to forget that you are covering up the beauty you shelled a thousand + dollars out for then get a MagEz case and float around like you were aiming to do. I think the most apt analogy I can provide is one for those who enjoy a Hendricks (feel free to sub in your botanical spirit of choice) and Tonic. Hendricks, the iphone in this case, is pretty damn smooth and the stiller who makes it is well aware. They have crafted a premium product which can be consumed on its own for bold purists out there⌠no doubt. But for the masses with a complex palette, we like a little bit of a buffer with a complimentary bitterness that prevents us from consuming Hendricks aggressively ⌠winding up intoxicated in a hurry (iPhone shattered on the floor is the image coming to mind). The MagEz case and its Pro counter part are the Fever Tree tonic and less caloric sibling Fever Tree Diet tonic. Nearly impossible to know the difference when mixed with the gin⌠but noticeable after you have a few every day for a week when you step on the scale. For now, Iâll be sticking with the Diet Fever Tree as itâs wedding season and I need to fit in my best suits ;)
The Pitaka MagEZ Case 4 is a great choice for anyone looking for a slim and lightweight case that offers great protection. It is made of Aramid fiber, which is a strong and durable material that is also very light. The case is also very thin, so it doesn't add any bulk to your phone. One of the best things about the MagEZ Case 4 is that it is compatible with MagSafe accessories and has strong magnets. This means that you can easily attach your phone to a MagSafe charger or MagSafe wallet without having to remove the case. I use it in my car and it has never come off the MagSafe mount and charges fast. Combined with the Titanium this is much more lighter than the 14 Pro Max.
The newly released ultra slim, aramid fiber Pitaka case provides protection, while allowing the aesthetics of the phone to be realized while using it. it is incredibly light and thin yet extremely durable, which allows the phone to remain as designed by Apple. The precision in which the case has been molded, is exact allowing access to all areas of the phone. They have provided fitting stickers, which allows an even tighter fit. However, I have not had to use them as the fit is extremely precise. The magnets on the back allows all MagSafe products to be used. However, Iâve compared the strength of these magnets to others even provided on an apple case, and they are notably stronger. A great purchase for someone looking for a minimalistic Great protection for their extremely expensive device.
The MagEZ Case 4, is a home run of a case. A bit of difference in feel, when compared to the slightly thicker, but more protective MagEZ Case Pro 4. Which has been my 'daily driver' case, since receiving my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The MagEZ Case 4 is super thin, sleek, and super light. Itâs almost like I'm holding the phone with no case, at all. The edges have a good grippy feel. Normally, I go with the OG black color. This time, I went with the Overture pattern. It's an awesome and stylish change.
Being a truck driver, itâs easy to experience phone drops. Whether from climbing in and out of the truck or trailers. Which is why I often go with the more protective case. But for those of whom, may have a more casual or relaxed day to day. This case is a great option. Iâll definitely be using it, during my time away from the road.
Such a unique phone case. Feels super smooth and nice in your hand, almost like holding the bare phone in your hand. It also is super durable and protects the phone. I have had a few other of this brand's cases on my old phones and loved them as well!
