Foam is not as firm, does not stay compressed long enough anymore due to low quality Chinese goods. Last time I will buy Honeywell.
I bought these to cancel out the noise while using a zero turn mower. They also work great when weed whacking or using a gas chainsaw. Comfortable to wear and wonât get your ears sweaty like over the ear, ear muffs.
I got this brand because the previous brand I was using started to make my ears itch after about week of using 1-2 pairs a day. I have not had that problem with this product. I also like the extra 1db of noise reduction. Two thing that are keeping them from being perfect, 1) the packaging stretches if you dot rip fast enough, 2) I found I can only reinsert the pair once or the become too soft and work there way out, so I have gone from 1-2 pair a day to 3-4 pairs. With that in mind, I will still reorder these when I need more.
Prompt delivery and exactly what I ordered.
they work real good for sleeping
Quite a long time ago, I bought a large box of these, and only now am I starting to run out, so I just bought another. And that's after sharing many of them with friends and relatives. They come in individually-sealed packs of two, so I'd often bring a bunch with me on trips, and if I happened to be sharing a room (or a tent) with someone else, I'd offer them a pair, because I have been known to snore. A bit. ;-)
One pair tends to last me a few weeks, although you could certainly replace them more often, knowing how many of these you get in the box.
They are not only comfortable to wear, but they seal the ear opening very well. I put them in pretty far, but have never had a problem getting them out again -- just a pinch between the fingers will usually be good enough to pull them out in the morning. My method is to roll the small end between my fingers to squeeze it a bit, then hold it by the "bell" end and insert into the ear. I may even pull back on my earlobe a bit while putting it in, just to open up the ear canal a bit more.
Sound blocking is as good as or better than any other earplugs I've tried.
Like I said, these are my go-to, and they have been for many years.
