  • Best Ritz location I’ve stayed at. Staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. Room was impeccable, both in cleanliness and maintenance. Location is great right on N Michigan Ave.Thanks so much for a great stay! To be honest I’ve stayed at the pen, 4S, and now here and the RC was equal if not better, and cheaper as well.

  • The restaurant was only open for breakfast. This was disappointing particularly since the breakfast was quite special. The presentation and food quality at breakfast was above and beyond the usual leading us to imagine what a dinner might be like.The big problem for us was the lounge was closed. My wife and I choose the Ritz Carlton because of what we read about the lounge. We only found out that it was closed for the season when we arrived.When we return to Chicago which we do more than once a year, we'll check to see if the restaurant is open for dinner.

  • Fantastic hotel. What sets them apart, much like other five star hotels, is the service and attention to detail. I would recommend staying here, and I myself am sold, and will be back here for the next two months

  • I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Chicago for a week. It is a luxurious hotel that offers all the facilities that a 5-star hotel should offer. The hotel reception is on the 12th floor, on the 11th floor is the SPA - I don't know if there is also a sauna, and the pool is dedicated to lap swimming.The room is large, the bed is very comfortable and in the minibar you can find everything you need. The food for breakfast is not a buffet. What can be disturbing is that on the side where I had the view there is a fire station where cars with sirens frequently left, but this less pleasant aspect can be overlooked. Also, the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy and ineffective.The location of the hotel is perfect, close to any important tourist area in Chicago.
