Review: Bright Yellow Anti-Theft Device for Steering Wheels

The product is too tight for most steering wheels and have to fiddle with the key to find the correct entry to lock and unlock. Waste of time. Sorry. Wish I could have returned before deadline.

There is a small notch in the key that must line up with a red dot on the unit. It looks like there are four ways you can insert this round key. I couldn’t unlock my steering wheel and was in a panic 15 hours away from home. Once I inserted the key correctly the unit unlocked. Directions would have been helpful!!!

Three days ago someone tried to steal my car. They didn't get it, but they did break my window and tear up the steering column. So I'm hoping this bright yellow club will make them look elsewhere for an easier victim.

If a thief decides to go for it anyway, I'm afraid they might be able to remove the device, because it's not very heavy duty. The old school clubs were heavy steel... this one is mostly aluminum. But we'll see...

It does the job but finding the right cut (bit) to insert the key into the lock could be confusing. I guess it is because the key is round.
Otherwise, it certainly is worth the price.

Recently, my job recommended that we, the staff, get these types of items for our cars if we work overnight. We have a large campus of cars and the security can't be in all places at once.

I added this to my car and I definitely feel more secure.

After we bought the lock we tried it a few times before we actually locked it on our wheel and it seemed to work. We then locked it on our wheel and then tried to unlock and remove it and it would NOT come off. We had numerous neighbors trying to help us and nobody could get the darn thing to budge. We then had to call the Fire Dept to help us. At first the fireman used the jaws of life and ended up having to use a disc saw to get it off. Terrible experience and terrible item!!!
