The hotel was clean and nice, with absolutely wonderful service. Several unforeseen circumstances made our journey more difficult (late arrival and important belongings left behind) but the employees at the hotel were always willing to help and easy to contact, making it all a lot easier! It was also tidy and modern, would definitely return!
I did like the location of the hotel and the staff was freindly. The boy who served us at the restaurant was really good :) This hotel is bit worn out, and needs update. Painting would do alot :) The bathroom was dirty and the the bed sheets had stains. We ordered Angus Burger at the restaurant but we got something other than Angus, not good.
Stayed here for two nights, nothing fancy but still very clean and comfortable. A great location, ten minute walk to the centre , friendly staff and great breakfast.would definitely recommend. Thanks to all at Eurohotel.
They should have demolished this place at the same time as the Berlin wall. This is a very dated run down hotel, it reminded me of Eastern Europe pre 1991. Very small rooms with bad beds. Room was very hot, could not leave the door open, due to communal balcony. I'll try not to stay here again.
This place does the job, friendly staff, good size room, very clean, great breakfast, happy to let you store collect bikes from cellar. Pity no coffee or tea in room. Location is a little further out from centre , but about 20 min walk from train station , not a problem really.
We went to Leeuwarden in the evening and checked in. The lady in check in was friendly and we were given room number 108. The Room was clean and fairly sized with TV and overlooking the road underneath. Breakfast was good and there were quite a few choices. I was surprised to see items such as toast and sausages missing, but there is plenty of choices to choose from. We also took a packed lunch option which was very reasonably priced. In the evenings we decided to eat from the hotel. The Mixed grill, while it tasted good, was small in portion. The next two days I took a schnitzel which was well sized and good tasting to. Meal is served with 2 types of potatoes, rubarb sauce, salad and 2 different kinds of vegetables. Hotel location is good, with bus stops nearby, althoughâŚ
I stayed here in the last week of July 2013 with my father and requested a twin room we were given room 502. When looking at the photos on trip adviser and other booking sites it seem to look o.k. TAKE NOTE they photos were taken some time ago and seem to suggest that the hotel is the building it is not, there photos say Air-conditioning, and yes there is aircon in the reception but not in the rooms. Room 502 looked to be the larger of the 5 on the fifth floor, you could not get past the bottom of the bed without smashing your leg against the heater behind the blinds VERY SMALL ROOMS. To add our misery, the room acted as a green house without the windows open you cannot breath, with them open you cannot sleep due to the road noise. In short, in winter for one night this mayâŚ
Ended up here for a week as I couldn't get another room in Leeuwarden for the full duration of my stay and did not feel like moving. I was pleasantly surprised..but not impressed. The hotel is old and basic. For my reservation, no credit card or other assurance was required which I thought was refreshing. On check in, my reservation was checked in an old fashioned diary and even then, no credit card or passport copy was required! On check out, the polite gentleman behind the reception counted the days in the diary and came up with a a final invoice! EURO 70 incl. of breakfast is not cheap, but was the cheapest rate I could find without going truly 'budget style'. Also I managed to park throughout the week in front of the hotel (which is difficult with the hotels that are moreâŚ
Walked in off the street. Room was small (but not smallest Ive stayed in), Decor ok. Beds satisfactory. Bathroom was TINY! Shower door was full sized and opened inward with taps behind shower. I was not able to get in. My mother was able to get into shower but was not pleased at the arrangement of having to stand in the blast to adjust the temperature. Sitting on the toilet, my knees touched the door, I am only 5'6 in height. Also the door was frosted glass so only provided the very minimum of privacy. I left the light off so that I was more private. Dinner in hotel dinning room. My mother enjoyed her "Glazed Apricot Chicken" but I found my "German steak" to be weird and bland, the other potatos and veg were very tasty. Tried to use free wifi in my room. âŚ
You should understand by it's name that this isn't a specially interesting hotel...it's just a hotel, nothing more or less. The location isn't in the very citycenter but it isn't to far from it either. The location "in" a rondell means that it' s a lot of noice from the traffic but in the evenings and nights, there isn't so much of it so it's not ruining your nightsleep. The breakfast is not magnificant but alright, despite the onemorning hoovering in the breakfast restaurant. The rooms are quite small with just 700 mm wide beds, twin bed room and it is just a shower which makes the whole floor in the bathrooms wet because of the short shower curtain. The interior "design" (or the lack of it) is very boring and they have really choosed the cheapest materials. Overall, if youâŚ
