Mixed Reviews for HireAHelper: Efficient Service with Some Complaints

Phone support was awesome and the process was amazingly simple & straight forward.

Edit to update: This is how my claims went:The terms of service that was agreed to before services were performed state in order for coverage to apply these three items must be present:One blanket per item and six straps must have been providedDamages must have occurred while the crew was on site and noted on the work ticket at the time the damage occurred.For damages to be covered in-transit, both loading and unloading services must have been booked through (Business Unit).Claim must be submitted within 10 days of the last date of services.Items were not loaded to a freight trailer.Never once did anyone talk to be about having to hire them on both ends for coverage of items. And not sure how I would ever know my items were damaged in 10 days as it took 14 for my containers to cross the country. Original Review:There was miscommunication about scheduling, but that was resolved to our liking and we were super pleased. The crew arrived very late, outside of the arrival time window, but they quickly went to work. We were very happy to see how they hustled. Disappointingly, when we unpacked the container packed by them, we have several things broken or ruined due to poor packing and not thinking things through. Container packed by my husband, although he had no idea how to do it, had zero broken items. It's not worth the cost of the helpers and then the cost of lost goods. Very disappointed that my items are damaged or ruined.

They were on time, extremely helpful, and packed my truck like a jigsaw puzzle.

These guys were great. They were polite and ready to get after it once they arrived. Every item was unloaded with care into our home. This team also has a wealth of experience in the industry which made me trust them that much more. I definitely be hiring them back when I have to move again.
