Mixed Reviews: Garden of Life Raw Organic Chocolate Shake

I have never had an issue with protein or meal replacement shakes and for me I'm not expecting a gourmet flavor or anything spectacular. But, I do expect to be able to choke it down and move on with my day. The only way I can describe this texture and flavor is to compare it to drinking blended up slug that was first rolled around in dirt batter covered in grass and phlegm. As for the taste its basically the same as the texture description, except I don't know exactly what slug would taste like. I guess I would describe it as tasting like a shake made up of straight up cow poop, dirt, and grass. Much like the cow pies I made as a kid, except I think those probably tasted better. Tried to return, but apparently you buy it you're stuck with it. I literally gag it back up when I try to consume this product. To me it's not edible, or maybe I got a spoiled batch, but Amazon not the seller card. Once they got the sell thats all that matters. Not customer satisfaction. The description is false and It does not dissolve as claimed, it is beyond gritty and nothing like I expected from the product description and reviews. Not sure if I received the same product as others, but I give you all mad props for being able to consume this product without throwing it back up.

I bought this for days when I didn't feel like cooking, like today. It sat on top of the refrigerator for a week until today. Used one scoop with one cup water that is stored in my refrigerator. Stirred it with a spoon until it was mixed well and it tasted OK. It could use a bit more chocolate but I can fix that. It has an after flavor that isn't bad.
Couldn't think of a reason to give it less than five stars.

I needed to ensure I was getting balanced nutrition and searched for weeks for the right beverage. Having an allergy to sucralose/Splenda, The options were limited. I found the Garden of Life Vegan Protein Powder and it checked all the boxes. I ordered it but was skeptical. So many wonderful things I'm not sure what to share first. The value was great for me; not insanely expensive like most of the options I considered. I did have to dig for the scoop but I'm sure that was due to everything getting shaken during shipment. The powder is quite fine so it blended beautifully. I tend to use chocolate almond milk or coconut milk with the chai flavor and vanilla almond milk or coconut milk with the chocolate flavor. Speaking of flavor, the instructions were 1 scoop with 8 ounces of liquid but the flavor was so powerful I added 8 ounces of water. Savoring the drink, typically drinking it in 30 minutes or more, tends to hold off hunger for 4 hours or more. I HIGHLY recommend this product. If you have children. Babies take formula. Adults take Raw proteins and greens meal replacement! Great stuff! I have notice I have been sleeping better, my body fully energized, I don’t get hungry during the day. I eat fruits such as apples or maybe snack for fillers. I do recommend getting banana powder and mixing it up in there to have potassium. Other than that I have taken it for 14 days straight for lunch. I don’t feel hungry or starved.

The ingredients are hard to understand, after drinking this, I'm still hungry. I have yet to see any weight loss. I don't know if I'm comfortable recommending this product yet.
