Only worked for a year and a half.
Very disappointed to buy yet another fire stick that only last about a year and a half. Last one lasted 2. And your replacement window is only a year so it seems like a total rip off.

The device will not plug on the extender.
The device plugs into an HDMI slot on tv. The included extender is probably defective. The stick does not plug into the extender. Probably poor quality of product.

Great deal!
Got this on prime days for $20 bucks. Works just as expected. I like how small it is and I can transport it anywhere. Sometimes I even take it to work and plug it into my computer. We also take a camping when we go and run it off my hotspot off my phone. Navigation is a little bit more complicated than a Roku but same concept. You have access to tons of shows and movies and documentaries. I am glad I made a purchase.

Hate the Update
One of the things I liked about the Firestick was how easy it was for our kids to navigate. Since the update where they removed the profile button and added steps to switch between profiles, the kids are having a much harder time. My son keeps ending up messing up settings and my daughter got so annoyed by it that she’s using her iPad projector instead. We don’t play games on the stick, and even if we did, I wouldn’t want to lose the ease of changing between profiles to do so. Plus forcing kids to go into SETTINGS to get to their profiles? C’mon Amazon.

3rd one we've purchased
Love these devices. Being the 3rd one we've bought (different tvs/homes), for some reason, this one has mentioned not enough space, although I don't notice any difference in viewing, and it's not like I'd even know anything about saving, downloading, or anything at all that this would mention lack of space. Anyhow, I haven't noticed change in service. Now, what I WILL mention, and maybe because I'm old, and being we just got rid of our Directv. which we only had for a couple of channels, I was ignorant to think we could watch some channels (we're huge on Investigation Discovery) without having a cable provider or pay what, $10/month to access the whole channel without being limited. I'm really not complaining, networks need to make money to keep providing service.

I have owned this Fire Stick for a little over a year, and though no real issues, I felt the need to write this review. At first, I was like everybody else, and was excited to have streaming on a TV that is a bit older, and that doesn't have the capabilities that newer TVs can offer. However, I noticed the fire stick wouldn't work properly, so I would need to restart the device, and it would work. Simple things like apps freezing, poor picture quality, or no sound. However, since a year has passed, I have noticed I have replaced the batteries on this little remote more than 10 times. It appears fire stick remotes are notorious for killing batteries. So, you have to unplug the fire stick to work properly, remove the batteries so they don't die, and the picture isn't near as good as my 4k TV. Id almost rather buy a new TV at this point.

Worked for ONE day.....
Absolutely garbage. I waited an entire week for delivery, the Firestick worked for 24 hours, now it freezes up or goes crazy moving through the menu on its own. Complete trash. Very disappointed with Amazon.

Slow performance, even after clearing cache, amazon music isn't compatible with its own product I can't access music from my playlists on my fire stick, try Google or roku

Love These
We have multiple Firesticks in our house and we absolutely love them! I love that we can watch all of our shows with ease. I also really enjoy the feel of the remote. Its heavy enough that it doesn't feel cheap. We have never had to replace a remote due to it not working. The only thing I dislike about the Firestick is that it is really hard to pair it to some TVs. The one we have in our bedroom will not control the Volume or Power to the TV, which is really annoying because we don't have a normal TV remote.
