  • fix bugs

    please stop changing the UI and focus on bugs. it won’t let me delete an item from my shop since the location for it changed. i get you’re probably trying to be more user friendly for new users but it really just makes it more confusing and frustrating for people who have been using it and are familiar with the features already

    After being scammed on Depop a user got be banned after scamming me. The customer service will not help you get your money back. I will be filling a case with my bank.

      Depop is the worst selling app. An employee named Tara terrorized me for months, constantly closing my account for no reason, and now Depop refuses to answer my emails. I was not a dropshipper like seemingly every other seller. Competitors made fake reports of my shop, and people who tried to scam me left bad reviews, and even though I was a top seller every week, Tara closed my account without even looking into it. Someone with a brain reopened it, and she closed it again. She kept doing it for absolutely no reason. She’s based in the UK, I found some interview with her and she is very full of herself, seems to think it’s her app. I did everything right, even helped other sellers and buyers with questions since depop customer service is an absolute joke. They also don’t protect buyers or sellers from scammers. I had to go through Paypal every time. Frankly, depop has no right to even take a fee since they do absolutely nothing. Sell anywhere else, just trust me. Oh—Depop also constantly removes bad reviews, so you can’t trust the reviews here. It is a nightmare, and you are likely to get your account closed with no warning, even in the middle of a sale. These people just care about taking your money, not about providing any kind of regulation or help.

      I sent out a pair of sandals and they were delivered. The seller wrote me in conversation and left me a review. The Usps did not update it as delivered just out for delivery for days now. I emailed depop with screenshots, it has been 11 days, no one is getting back to me. I feel like my money has been stolen. I dont want to sell here anymore if not resolved. So ridiculous.

      I love this app and how easy it is to find what I want! I’m just a bit upset that there’s no size 00 in women’s bottoms! It’s the only size I fit and I definitely can’t size up 😂

    • The absolute worst customer service

      This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any other app or company.
      I explained my issue with several different customer service representatives, being that my account was banned without telling me why, leaving my Depop balance stuck in my account. While I had initially wanted to get my account back, I no longer have the desire to. After speaking to over 10 different members, my questions continue to be ignored. They contacted me for a dispute of refunding money from my balance, and after receiving permission, they ghosted me. This is only one of the many things they have done. They are holding my money “hostage” and are ignoring me, and there is nobody I can talk to that can help me, no matter how many requests I send in.
      Overall, disappointed and frustrated. Terrible app and I do not recommend at all.

      I purchased one thing a long time ago, and I rarely use this app. I only use it to look at clothes. and liking stuff. but I’ve only made one purchase and one day I come back and randomly my account is banned? This isn’t fair because I literally did nothing wrong and I’m unable to make another account

    • Love Depop, but the Shopping Cart Feature has been disappointing

      Depop shopper since it’s early start💕One of my favorite places to shop, some of my best pieces of all time have come from Depop, but major issues with their shopping cart feature. The setup is great, but When you want to go look at the things you’ve gathered and want to buy, the content doesn’t load, or half of it loads, and when you finally get the chance to get your cart to fully load, nothing moves slower. I have the app on automatic update, so it’s not out of date- maybe just some kinks they need working out. Other than that, so user friendly- especially for Instagram users- have only come across nice sellers so far. Selling is fun and easy on this platform, too❣️

      Normally I don’t write reviews but I had the worst experience trying to sell a bag with depop, the app is full of scammers and I lost a lot of money and the depop team didn’t try to help me, beware when you try to sell something this a very sketchy app

    • Terrible customer support

      Apparently it takes 14 emails to resolve an issue. I simply wanted to delete my account as I could not find the email that was associated with my phone number, and I wanted to make a new one.

      Customer support asked me to verify my phone number by taking a screenshot of it from my phone settings (for an iPhone: settings —> phone —> my number). I did and I had repeated messages from 4 different people telling me that I was doing so incorrectly, even though I was. I literally had to take a screen recording to show that I was following their steps despite their repeated messages that I wasn’t.

      After I finally told customer support I no longer wanted help I surprisingly got an email saying my account deletion was approved. I was going to make a new account but if this any indication of what customer support is like for other issues I don’t want to deal with the hassle.

      I’ve read other people’s experiences with Depop, and I just wanna say that until they straighten out their stuff, I will not be listing anymore items.. apparently they can take all of your money even for mistakes on their end. Not cool.

      i have been scammed TWICE on this app, and not ONE time did depop assist me. i reported these incidents to depop many many times and no action has been taken. one seller told me that something was in “brand new condition”, then it came COVERED in thick black lint and $60 went down the drain. the seller has been ignoring my messages and requests for a refund or return. their account is still up and depop has not done a thing. another sell told me that my item had shipped, then never marked it as delivered. the dress that i had paid a whole lot of money for was never even sent to me and the seller hasn’t answered any of my messages since she received the payment from me. i would like to clarify that BOTH PAYMENTS WERE MADE DIRECTLY THROUGH THE DEPOP APP. that account is still up and well and depop has done nada.

    • Please fix the app glitching when you switch to another app

      Depop is the best online thrift service by far. But there is one small but significant issue for this 2 star review. This has been a consistent issue over multiple iOS versions and phones I’ve had. Never had this issue with ANY other app before. In the middle of shopping, if I leave the app to go check a text, the Depop app will FREEZE completely when I return to it. The only way to fix is to swipe up from multitasking and “force quit” it — which causes me to “lose my place” while shopping & I often cannot find the store/item I was looking to buy again!!!!!! Small detail complaint, I know, but SERIOUS PITA!!!!!!!!!!! Please fix this and I will give 5 stars. 2 stars for now because this glitch should be fixed after so many years — consider it a challenge :)

      i’ve used Depop for years, both as a seller and buyer (mainly as a buyer). today my account was banned, with pending purchases and listings i’ve also sold, due to “counterfeit” listings. i provided proof to the customer service department, which included receipts for the items i purchased, and sold on Depop. as someone who’s spent thousands of dollars on an app, i’d expect a better experience than being banned without even initially being told why. this app is a great idea, and a wonderful concept overall. i’ve enjoyed using it up until this point, and because i was permanently banned i guess i’ll have to find somewhere else to buy and sell second-hand clothing. disappointing:(

    • Bad App.. full of scammers!

      I recently downloaded Depop, and I had a fraudulent purchase that they refused to refund me for. They asked to ship it back to the seller, and didn’t reimburse me or respond back. So now I lost money on the return shipping and the original purpose. The seller got the money and the product back without any consequences.
      Do not download. Awful customer service and experience, will be deleting.

    • Stop replying to my email because they can’t figure out the issue

      I had back and forth through email several times explaining that every time I connected my PayPal account my Depop would get deleted.

      Instead of listening to me support just kept reactivating my account, completely ignored my PayPal issue and on the second time this happened they explained to me step by step how to connect my PayPal… as if my problem was I didn’t know how to connect my PayPal account.

      I told them they weren’t listening to my issue, Everytime I connected my PayPal my account gets deleted! I repeated this 3 - 4 times in my last email to ensure they understood the issue and I guess I hurt someone’s feelings
      Because now theyre completely ignoring my emails.

      2 weeks and haven’t received any emails as a response. I sent a follow up asking for a response. Week later no response.

      Is this how you guys run an operation. Can’t figure out an issue so you just stop replying and stop trying.
      I sell pretty fast on Facebook market and less of a sellers fee but I’d appreciate a Depop account back.
      I don’t expect much though, so Facebook market and Poshmark will do.

      I cannot access my funds unless I add my bank account info. I have a PayPal account that has my bank account info and that should suffice. This is ridiculous
