  • Works only with subscriptions :(

    Was exited about this app but sadly all content is behind a paywall. Even with the trial it just means I have to subscribe still. I just wanted to check it out before seeing if it’s worth the high price. Not sure it’s so close to Netflix.

    I discovered that the problem I was having trying to load the app had to do with my VPN! I use KeepSolid’s VPN Unlimited. When I switched to KeepSolid’s SmartDNS, the app loaded properly!

  • Art over practicality - fonts & layouts impossible to read

    This app needs to revisit graphic design 101. It would be nice to see what this app is all about but it’s a mishmash of styles and colors that push esthetics over good old fashion readability. They want $13 a month for the equivalent of art haus trash design. Just NO!

    The app fails miserably at its primary goal which is to inform its users of great cinema. It’s extremely hard work to read. Click though to a review it quickly becomes sadistic and beyond frustrating to discover the art team made the choice to use anorexic light gray fonts more applicable to fashion models then simple block text for the body of an article. Until they embrace better design I recommend a hard pass.

  • App does not wok

    I signed up the the free trial and download it on my phone and apple tv. Whenever I attempted to press play to watch something or add to watch later nothing would play. There is an issue with this app. Great idea, needs improvements.

  • Another rip off app

    I signed up for a month and the it renewed on October 15. I the decided to cancel the next renewal for November 15 and while I paid for a month my access was denied to the app after I cancelled. I would like to know how to get a partial refund but as usual there is no place to submit request or resolve subscription issue. As far as the movie selection it was not worth the money and I am not sure who curates this but it not the Criterion Collection for sure.
