  • One of the worst experiences i ever had. I arrived late due to flight delay, found out that they had rented my room. To secure a room, i was charged TRIPLE the rate. Room service ends at 10 pm. So I couldn’t order a meal and had to sleep on an empty stomach. Staff (night staff)were unhelpful and not willing to help with anything at all. Day staff were a bit more attentive, but it didn’t really make a difference to me. The room didn’t feel clean. I would only recommend that hotel to my worst enemy.

  • I chose to stay at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel because of the proximity to the metro. Located within 5mins walk to foggy bottom metro, it is super convenient especially to get to the dca airport with no need to transfer and less than a 30min ride!Hotel is a heritage site so this means they still using the original heating and cooling system so you can't really turn on the heating/cooling unless the hotel has them on. Not an issue for us and the staff were more than happy to provide an extra fan if needed. Rooms are very spacious, clean and the lobby is really beautiful. Coffee is provided on the first floor in the mornings which is nice. Check in and out was very smooth, and they were happy to hold out bags for us when we arrived and checked out early. Overall a lovely hotel and I will definitely come back next time I am in dc!

  • I have stayed at the Melrose many times while visiting my daughter in college. I always come back to the Melrose because of the amazing service and staff… specifically Lelise! She is a true gem!

  • My mom and me stayed at the Merlose Hotel recently and loved it there. Besides having the great location,, my mom, who was visiting from abroad for the first time to UsA, and I felt very welcome by the hotel personnel, specifically by Leiise and Aaivaan! They are super considerate, friendly and professional. Thanks to the hotel management as well for recruiting such great employees!Rooms: Wonderfull spacious rooms. Loved coffee in the room too.
