Customer Feedback: Cordless Top Down Bottom Up Cellular Honeycomb Shades

I purchased 4 of the top down blinds and loved how they looked and were easy to install. Sadly 3/4 have just broken out of no where, the string system stops working and the curtains just fall down on their own. Have tried to fix them but the plastic inside that holds the string taught eventually just snaps from the pressure.

We have ordered from this vendor before and have been very pleased. Seems to be a quality product that doesn't break the bank. Follow the ordering process and they fit like a glove.

One thing about product reviews is that most are written immediately upon receiving the item, when it is bright, shiny and new. Rarely do hear how it holds up after months or years. Well, hear goes... Delivery took weeks, but that is common for custom-made window coverings. When I got it, installation was straightforward. In the bright, shiny, new phase, I was very satisfied. It seemed good for the money. One night recently, my wife and I heard a crash somewhere in the house. It seemed that something fell down, but what? After looking in all the rooms, I discovered that this shade had crashed to the bottom rail. It wouldn't hold when raising it back up. I took the shade down to examine the works, hoping I could restring it or something. Not possible -- a plastic tab that held a spring had snapped off. This is not a common part you can buy in a hardware store. So this shade is unusable junk after 3 years. Meanwhile I have other shades in the house that have lasted 20 years or more. Apparently, they don't make them like they used to. Will be replacing, but not with the same cheap crap. I have to ask: how much more would it have cost the manufacturer to use slightly more sturdy part? I'm guessing not much. But then, we all select goods to buy by their price, don't we?

I bought four sets of these blinds and found them easy to install. They are really nice and I love the Antique Linen color.
The company is very clear about getting the correct measurements and everything fits perfectly.
My only problem is that I can't seem to get one of the blinds to sit evenly at the bottom rail. Nothing I have tried quite works. If anyone has had this happen I'd appreciate hearing how you fixed it...

I don't usually write reviews, but for anyone on the fence about these shades, you won't be disappointed. I looked all over for this type of shade and while these weren't the cheapest I found, it sounded like these were built and operated like the more expensive shades. I don't have anything to compare these to, but I'm really happy with how they look and how they feel when I raise and lower the shade.
I did worry a little bit about how they would fit, I mounted mine inside the window frame. But, I sent them the exact measurements of my window opening and the shades ended up being a perfect fit. Installing the shades was fairly painless, and I'm pleased with how sturdy the hardware is.
I purchased two shades to try them out on a couple windows. I will be ordering more shades from this company.

I used these blinds in a downstairs bedroom that have two single hung windows. These blinds allow us to open the window vent with the blinds moving up or part up and down. Easy to move blind up or down. Very easy to install with included hardware.
