Amazing in every way. Great, friendly, professional service from everyone we met. Pre stay queries were answered promptly and our request for a quiet room was satisfied - in fact the room we were given was free from any noise. Breakfast too was first class. Finally, the hotel is in a very convent position especially with the, easy to navigate, metro accessible from the hotel itself.
I did a lot of research to find this hotel. It was in the perfect location for us (Ginza) and close to the train station. The rooms were beautiful and the service was impeccable. I've never had housekeeping take the time to organize all the toiletry and makeup bottles and display them so nicely. They also have a complimentary vehicle to take you to dinner when you book a suite. Very nice perk. This was our first trip to Japan and our experience at the Peninsula definitely set the bar high!
Peninsula hotels are among the best in the business, and the Peninsula Tokyo does not disappoint. The spaciousness of the rooms alone justifies the price, but everything else is perfect too.I was very pleased to be accomodated early on the day of my arrival due to an early flight: this makes a huge difference to our comfort when flying in from the west.Cocktails at Peter's are excellent. Try the souffled pancake at breakfast.I look forward to returning when I am next in Tokyo.
We returned to the Peninsula again for the second time this year. Concierge was very helpful in booking dinners even though it was Golden Week and very busy. We had a few families travelling together and the Hotel was able to allocate rooms close to each other, being especially accomodating when we had last minute flight changes. Much appreciated when we are juggling a multigenerational family trip.
The rooms are big and comfortable with expansive dresser and bathroom, which is a luxury by Japan city standard. There are also interesting privacy features like in-room valet box which allows them to send things ie. newspaper/ice bucket to our room without pressing the doorbell. All we need to do is to retrieve it from the valet box in our room. The hotel is highly accessible and has a private exit from the basement that links us to Hibiya metro station. Love the convenience!
This is our fifth stay. We don't even bother to look at other hotel as this is the best you can find in Ginza.location:5 minute walk to Ginza Main Shopping Street, and basically the entire Ginza Shopping and restaurantRoom:Penninsula Standard is the same every country, providing you with quality Sleep and all the ammeinties.Service:Very attentive and helpful service staff. DiningBreakfast is NOT buffet. You can dine at Peter or lobby restaurantOverallWe will be back :)
