    The log book is a simple format with plenty of room to write down your run info. I also like that it’s small and can easily fit in my backpack or purse. The one downside is the binding. I prefer to be able to fold it the way a spiral bound log book allows, but this one is too stiff. Otherwise, it’s a handy little log book.

  • Perfect simplicity

    I use strava and garmin for planning and tracking, but got this as a gift and can't say enough how good it's been to just write how I felt and other factors. I'm coming off an injury and this is a perfect journal to keep track of how runs are going and write down ideas for future training.

  • Not enough entries for a full year

    I originally really liked this journal. It has enough free form space in each entry for me to write what I needed about each workout. However it is October 12th and I have run out of entries, using only one entry per day. I expected there to be enough entries for an entire year. If you only work out 3-5 days a week this won’t be a problem but if you are looking at recording a workout each day and expect a journal to last the year, this is not the journal to choose.

     I believe this is probably the best running journal you could have if you are a runner or if you have someone in your life who is a runner and needs a gift! I just started running regularly and this is a great way to keep you motivated and track your progress. It really checks all the boxes!
