EAST OAK Lunch Box Feedback: Hot Meals Anywhere, Anytime

The automatic heating function is very convenient. I set the timer, and by lunchtime, my food is warm and ready to eat. Its capacity is large enough for a full meal, and the removable tray with partitions keeps different foods separate, which is a great design. However, I didn’t find a fork or spoon in the box. Overall, it’s a great product.

My nephew works in construction so often he must eat his lunch while sitting on a roof 50 stories high! He loves this lunch box as it is portable and he no longer is relegated to eating a cold meal. He loves to cook and this gives him the option to heat up the meal he prepared the night before.

It is sturdy, somewhat lightweight, portable and heats up a nice portion of food quickly and without the need of electricity.

I was impressed with the design and the precision of the parts and how well they fit together. The timer makes it nice as the box is not constantly on and cooking the whole time before you are ready to eat. This box is programed to start heating 2 hours before the time you set for your food to be ready. It has lot more feature and benefits than others of the same price point. Note that it is rechargeable and doesn't need to be plugged in the whole time. That does compromise the space available for you food. I will need to recharge in between each use.

Nice little heated lunchbox for road trips. It arrived with 83% charge. Large enough for two sandwiches. Although it works great, it has a definite programming learning curve. You have to plan ahead on what time you plan on eating. The instructions are pretty vague. This lunchbox would benefit greatly if it had a simple on/off switch versus going through the programming process. But it does heat nicely up to 220 degrees. It's pretty much one meal per charge, which is fine - hot lunch on a long trip, then change overnight for the next day. Comes with a fork & spoon, charger and an insulated carry bag. If operation was simpler I would have given it a full 5-stars. I would recommend with that one reservation. Nothing wrong with a simple on/off.

This little heated lunch box heats up nicely. I wanted it to take a hot lunch to ski area's. Perfect size for that. There's a built in rechargeable battery so no need to find an outlet to plug it into. Controls are intuitive. Comes with a metal pan to hold your food and a fork and spoon which fit nicely in the cover. Bonus that it comes with a nice insulated bag with a removable shoulder strap to carry it.

This is about the size of typical lunch boxes. It does have features to schedule when to warm the food. This is nice to have while on the road without an access to a microwave.
