    This notebook with two ribbon strips for marking a page is a fine quality product. The pages are durable for writing. There are colored tabs you can stick on to label sections. It has an elastic band to wrap ie length-wise to hold the book shut. I used it for teachers to write in notes to a retiree. I labeled each grade level with the tabs and they wrote in their appropriate section.

    I can't find anything good to say about this notebook. I'm honestly baffled by all the good reviews. I expect some corners to be cut for the price, but every single thing about this notebook feels unpleasantly cheap and thin. Will definitely be returning this and just spending more money for a nice notebook, and using something far cheaper than this for when I don't need better quality.

    It’s priced really well for such a sturdy book! The paper is not thin and flimsy and I love the choice of lots of colors! These work very well for daily notes and to do lists .. one of my fave!

  • Not bad, but not a Hand Book - Thin Paper

    It has a nice feel to it: leatherette cover, elastic band to hold it closed. The paper is very smooth.

    I like the Hand Book journals to use for writing, sketching, and light watercolors. This looked very similar at a lower price, and while it's okay, it's not a substitute. The paper is quite thin, so water colors will cause significant wrinkling. What's more, whether you are planning to sketch or write, you should plan to only use one side of each page, because even pencil shows through to the other side of the sheet.
