    I'm wondering if I will my using this regret later. Rinsing is necessary. I rinsed each small batch three times, and feel like you could rinse for a year and still see residue as the lil granular just break down more? I used a 2" layer on the bottom of my 29 gallon, and sand capped with another 2" layer of black sand. Any small disturbance is causing black cloudiness.
    Tank is not fully cycled so things may improve.

    It’s the only substrate I use. Sometimes I mix it with other stuff like eco complete. But it’s packed with nutrients and more affordable than ADA Amazonian

    Substrate is our go to for shrimp and fish. Our kohil loaches love to go under it and the shrimp love to hide in it when they are babies.

  • Great packaging and substrate

    I have had great luck with the Fluval substrate. I also have ordered the Flourite Black only to have it come busted open every time. The Fluval is double bagged. Never had it bust, and if it did it would be contained in the second bag. I wish more substrate products where shipped like this!

     Primero dejĂŠ la pecera vacĂ­a..Cuando lo recibĂ­ lo aclarĂŠ con un colador en el lavabo para quitar el polvo y lo echĂŠ en la pecera( completamente vacĂ­a sin agua) y despuĂŠs fui llenĂĄndola poco a poco... se formĂł una nube negra que tardĂł dos dĂ­as en bajar y aclarar y me asustĂŠ mucho...pensĂŠ que no se aclararĂ­a..pero puse el filtro a tope y fui cambiando la esponja y limpiĂĄndolo y este es el resultado!
