SPART Color Coded Weight Plate: Durable, Comfortable, and Functional

SPART has not disappointed at all. It's tough to find good plates for 1-in bars. These are it. The center slot has rounded edges so they're easy to get on and off. And they don't fit too loosely. Color looks good. No chemical smells or oil glaze. The handholds make these extra functional. Decent price, though a tad high if you ask me.

These seem to be good quality and the rubber coating is nice.
We will see how long the rubber holds up but it is nice and smooth and coated evenly with no sharp edges.
They do have a pretty powerful rubber smell at first but I'm hoping a few days in the garage will clear that up.
These are only for small diameter weight bars, will not fit the professional Olympic sized weight bars, ie 2"
Will work well for holding and doing arm/shoulder exercises.
Only taking a star off for the smell.

I got these to add a little extra weight to my setup when I am upping my lifts. They are also good for adding a bit of weight to things like planks or to use for grip exercises. They came in good condition, although they had a bit of a rubbery outgassing smell for the first day or so. I like that these are covered (even though the pink coating is darn bright) because I am not going to mess up my floor in the same way as I would with a plain iron plate. Do note that the inner opening of the plate is 3 cm (so a little over 1 inch—around 1.18”)

Excellent set of color-coded weight plates made for a perfect gift for the Mrs as they are her favorite color and a huge different from the dirty rusty average cast iron plates. The color coding on these plates makes it easy to remember the weight scale making it easy to obtain never slowing you down during your workout. The plates have a comfortable grip and a clean center slip ring will glide right on to any bar or fitness equipment with the proper sizing. Aside from gifting an additional awesome option is not having the clanking going on if you have fitness music or a fitness video going on in the background, awesome strong sturdy quality and a huge plus is thethe rubber coating making it easy to wipe down once done with your workout.

The weight plates arrived, on time, well packaged, and defect free. The weight plates have a 1" opening, so it doesn't fit a traditional 2" bar, which was not an issue for me. The weight plate opening is lined in metal, so wear on the plate should not be an issue. The plate has convenient hand holes for easy handling. The plates were only 2.5 lbs., but handy for the addition of weight when moving up in weight during exercise. Overall, well made and met my needs.
