This is the only product on the market that is raw food that requires no freezing/unfreezing and creates no mess. It is a very unique approach that makes feeding your dog raw food so much simpler. I have previously tried to put my dogs on a raw diet, but freezing/unfreezing was so time-consuming that I gave up. Maev's tiny chunks of raw food are an amazing approach! If you have thought about going raw with your dog food, but were hesitant because of storage, freeze/unfreeze timing, etc. - try Maev that has solved all those inconveniences.
Bleached potato and peas is not something that should be in a dog's diet - it's controversial. It's also more than half of the package (used to be different). My dog loves peanut butter but for some reason she rejects maevs peanut butter chunks and she's not a picky eater. The packages arrived partially frozen (many orders!) and according to my vet it could have contributed to severe periodontal disease that made my yorkie lose almost all her teeth. Swtiched to farmers dog and my dog is way happier.
There was a delivery issue and the Customer Service Team was AMAZING !!!! The situation was handled quickly by their swift correspondence and resolution skills.
My dogs love this food, and I feel it is a much healthier alternative to the dry kibble they were eating before. The service from Maev has been great, they make it easy to order or change delivery time if need be.
Okay first off, this is overall a good brand. The quality of the food is great, both for their food and the supplements. Unfortunately, my dog is very picky and won't eat the food, but does love the supplement bars. My main issue with this company is the bad customer service. Multiple times I have had to contact them to get a subscription cancelled. They'll tell me it's cancelled, when really, they don't cancel my subscription at all, just push the shipping date a month or two into the future. It is highly annoying and I've had to send multiple emails making sure they cancel the shipments. It almost feels like it's done on purpose in the hopes the customer forgets and then later on gets charged. I know this probably isn't the case, but this has happened to me three separate times, so I've become very diligent in following up on my cancellations. Overall, this is a good brand that uses quality ingredients, but it is quite pricey on that same note, and the customer service is less than ideal. They are nice and helpful, but I don't like that it takes so much effort to cancel the subscription.
Maev's calming and anxiety supplement bars have been a wonderful addition for our nervous Australian Shepherd during storms and fireworks. Highly recommend them for any nervous dogs.
