I was recently given a refund from a merchant. They sent me receipts of the payment being processed and sent. it never reflected on my account and I was never given access to the funds. I contacted Chime customer service, and I was directed between two departments back-and-forth five times and never getting a resolution or an answer even though I gave them the exact date and time., all the merchant info, and screenshots of whatever they asked for. With any other bank this wouldāve been a simple problem to resolve. Today is July 8. Iāve been waiting for the money to reflect in my account since June 17 I couldnāt give a lower rating for this bank. Chime customer service is truly a nightmare. Thank God it was only $50. I was trying to get back from them save yourself the aggravation and use a different banking app. And unfortunately, this wasnāt the only time I had a question for customer service and never got a solid answer. I would give -5 stars if I could.
The app was great, honestly loved it but recently theyāve closed my account for no reason and took all my money. Will not being using this account or recommending it to others anymore.
Chime is the best. Your money hits right away and there are no games and run around. They show you that it's your money and you spend, save it, send it and even lock it so it can not be touched. It's a bank in your hands and they are very protective, no easy access here. Chime is my Bank and the Perks are awesome. Just try it and I guarantee you'll stay a member. I've been a member for 7 years or lil less. But not to write a story but I was unemployed for almost 2 years and would you believe my Chime account stayed just like I left it. Finally got a job put my Chime info in payroll and it was as if I had never left. But I didn't, LOL. Seriously Chime is the top Mobile Bank in my eyes and quite a few others I know. Were the Chimesters or should I say Chimers!!!
I have no issues with this bank until you have FRAUD. Iāve had chime over 6 years. And today I realized every time Iāve had either money stolen or a merchant took too much. EVERY SINGLE TIME I FILED A DISPUTE. THEY NEVER EVER GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK. THIS IS REGARDLESS OF THE POLICE REPORTS. THEY SAY THEY NEVER EVER FIND FAULT NOT A BIG DEAL NOW UNTIL YOUR MONEY GETS STOLLEN
Oh AND MONEY NEVER SEEMS TO ADD UP EITHER. LIKE I KNOW I SOEND MONEY BUT IM CONVINCED THERE STEALING FROM ME THROUGH HIDDEN FEES OR SOMETHING.
First week of july 2023 thousands of tweets and google reviews, including my self have not received direct deposit for 2 days now. All chime say is that the federal reserve is down. My employer told me that the funds have been sent out to my chime routing and account numbers and there is nothing he can do on his end. I will return my funds and direct deposit back to traditional banking as I never went through this issue with Wells Fargo.
They are the worst banking app system there is. It takes forever to get a hold of anyone and when they do talk on the phone or through the chat it doesnāt help at all. Horrible experience
Had a dispute with chime and I had all the information paper and the merchant proof that I was correct about a few weird transactions . Chime closed my account and did me wrong donāt open account with them

Do not open an account with Chime! They will leave you in the dark when internal issues arise & will surely blame it on 3rd party services. How do you not know whatās going on?!
The customer service is not the best. There is plenty of room for improvement . Also I hate when there is some āthird party service issues that delays deposits Every blue moon. The spot me is cool but they donāt increase it very much even if youāre āon time ā paying it back.
DO NOT USE CHIME!!!! I wish someone wouldāve told me this before I started using them. They are holding everyoneās paychecks right now and they are not doing anything about it. They are saying it is a third-party company that is holding our paychecks but that is just their way of placing the blame on someone else. Customer support is a joke and they will not provide an ETA on when our checks will be deposited into our account. Stay away! There are so many other great options to use please avoid chime at all costs.
Iāve had money to come missing out my account multiple time this online financial institution is Incompetent of keep funds secure. One asking about your money you will get the run around then finally no one will answer from support. Bank at your own risk if this happens to you me money donāt say I didnāt warn you.
Stay away from chime they will take your money
They freeze your money even though they decline a transaction for no reason. Then they process and take the money out while keeping the additional money frozen. And then they tell you they will take 3 months to get your money back.

Shut up. Take it out of the fridge and pat it dry. Add more salt and pepper than you think you need. Put it 1-3 inches above orange hot coals depending on thickness, and flip every minute.
Blow or pump air at the coals to keep them that hot.
Once you have a beautiful crust on both sides, cover it with tinfoil and let it rest for 5 minutes.
When the rest is over, you'll have a perfect steak every time.

It wont let me sign up for a chime account the app freezes when you click submit application and its stuck on the loading page
On June 7th I tried to withdrawal money from a Chime ATM in the amount of $500, the slot door for the money dispenser closed on my fingers immediately so I could not grab my money, therefore I obviously did not receive the money I tried to withdrawal yet the amount was still debited from my account. I had a ticket that the ATM printed for me regarding an error and a witness who happened to be the Manager of that circle k. I filed a dispute by calling as well as by the chat option available on the app. I went through an enraging process of dealing with Chimes garbage customer service who make it a mission with waste time and make members frustrated to the point of hanging up, representatives have no empathy whatsoever who are clearly all Indian so the communication was so much more difficult than it needed to be (do you not have employees that speak proper English?) I will tell you now, a manager or supervisor is NONEXISTENT YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO TEACH ONE. After MANY MANY CALLS AND MANY CHAT CONVERSATIONS WITH DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVES I was provided a ātemporary creditā in the amount of $500 for the error as I wait for them to continue the investigation. Today July 4th I received an email disclosing that my DISPUTE WAS DENIED AND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DEBIT $500 FROM MY ACCOUNT. First off, HOW DARE THEY, they do not have the right to debit what was never theirs to begin with because they did not do the investigation properly. THAT IS THEFT, BOTTOM LINE. Their method of solving the issue was letting me borrow my own money then tell me theyāre stealing it. This company has proven itās incompetence and made it clear they will confidently steal money from their members. Do not trust this corporation.
They are stealing your money and when you ask for a refund to something you NEVER paid for they will lie and say youāll get it but never will
Use back door means to help you by forcing people to set up direct deposit and totally lock you in to this institution
I am not understanding whatās going on with chime. I was introduced to chime 2 days ago through my husband and coworkers, they told me chime was amazing it helped them build credit and they got there money 2 days early they love it. So when I go in the mane website to apply for chime is where the problem comes in at I fell out all the requirements they ask for and I hit submit and all I get is a white screen with loading green circle for about 5 min and still nothing. So am like maybe it my phone so I go over to my computer then next morning and still the same thing so i donāt know whatās going on but chime you need to fix this problem cause people like me canāt come join and I would love to be part of you bank
Doesnāt even let you login from the start to the app you get paid from. Says itās wrong when I went in and changed the login info of my account and it locked me out of my account
Iāve been banking with big banks (Wells Fargo) for over 20 years. Finally I am giving up on them completely and making Chime my primary financial institution. They treat you with such respect and kindness like they really want you to be the best you. If you donāt chime. You should š

Had my card comprised with over $1000 in fraudulent charges. Filed a dispute and Chime denied it 2 days later without a proper investigation. Submitted the dispute again and was declined again. Submitted it a third time and was declined. Will closing my account immediately and filing a lawsuit against this scamming company. Bank at your own risk.
I love this bank because I am out of country a lot & thereās usually a good chunk of fee free atms with local currency in other countries I absolutely love it! Keep increasing those arms theyāre so useful.
