I had the original siemens maf faulty around rpm 1600, bad fuel consumption and hesitant on acceleration, this solved the problem like immediately. Will update on performance when identified, if no issues i will not update this review.

I needed a new MAF sensor for my 2005 BMW 330ci. I ordered this one and installed it. It worked great for only one day! I ran my codes and it needed to be replaced again. Good luck!
I tried this on a 2004 X3. The diameter of this part is smaller than the OEM and is loose in the housing. It doesn't seal properly against the rubber gasket and will allow unfiltered air to enter the engine. I did try it to see what it would work like and seemed to function as it should, but returned it because of it not sealing properly.

Arrived the next day, installed it, and it works!
If there is a change I’ll let you know.
Worked for two weeks and got the dreaded “!” next to the gear indicator. The fit was kind of loose when attached to the airbox. Stay away and buy genuine BMW MAFs, new or used.
Easy install and added benefit was more miles per gallon! Car has 119,000
