    I was planning to rip up the carpet so we could fix all the squeaks, but this eliminated them with no evidence left behind! It was a little tricky to find the right spot for the floor beam, but once we found it, this worked perfectly. Squeaks will come and go depending on humidity, etc. so remember where your beams are so you don’t have to hunt and peck each time you go to use this. I’ve used it on hardwood, too - just be sure you have wood filler that’s the right color.
