ClickUp, the project management app, has received a number of negative user reviews due to bugs, glitches, and missing features. Users complain about the app's poor mobile interface, inconsistent syncing, and frustrating user experience. Some also report receiving unwanted marketing emails. While many praise the desktop version, the mobile app lacks essential features, such as the ability to create custom fields and missing views. Despite these issues, some users remain loyal to ClickUp's broad and organized hierarchy, though many call for improvements and bug fixes.

Mobile App interface is too large and doesnât take enough use of the screen real estate. You should be able to see everything related to a task on one screen without having to tap on 3 different tabs. I have to manually refresh constantly since the app doesnât sync itself. Theyâve been teasing ClickUp 3.0 for over 6 months but the Beta is still nowhere to be seen even for users who have been on the waitlist since day one. Whatâs going on at ClickUp? I want to be a fan and I left Asana for you but need reliability and honest communications.
Seems like every few updates thereâs a major bug where when you edit a DOC on the iPhone, it doesnât actually save.
However, because itâs intermittent you never know what important information youâre going to add to a meeting, phone number you going to write down, or financial record youâre going to notate, that just wonât get saved.
Quality is less important than inconsistency, ask McDonaldâs how itâs going for them.
Search on mobile is just nearly useless, you can search for something and get 50 results with all the same title for some reason.
Thereâs no time tracking integrations like Harvest or Toggl on mobile.
Impossible to navigate
My tech guy told me this app was a must for me so I downloaded it. Itâs the single most glitchy app Iâve ever encountered. I canât even sign up. Iâm pretty tech savvy so this should have been a snap. Think I may fire my tech guy.
