It occasionally will disconnect from the xbox.
I've had these for a couple months now and use about an hour every day. I have only had to charge it ONE time so far (and it continued to work when wired up to charge). Amazing battery life. They're fairly comfortable, work well under Linux.
The mic monitoring feature is Turtle Beach's differentiator and I'm glad to have it, although it picks up a bit more white noise than I would like. Seems like my old wired Turtle Beach headset had better filtering on the mic monitor.
There is no noticeable latency; I can play a digital piano just fine - an impossible feat with higher latency Bluetooth speakers.
Sound quality for voice and music seems fine, but I'm no audiophile. The audio profile switching button (that I never use) is slightly proud and the power button is slightly recessed, I wish that was reversed. I don't have any *real* issues with the headset.
I felt it was too snug and wasn't really better than my old one so I sent it back.
Worked great for about 2-3 months. Then I went to put it on like every other day, and the left side snapped clean off. I wouldn't recommend them.
I haven’t even had these for a full year and the headband snapped near the ear cup. Ironically these replaced my previous TurtleBeach headset, which lasted about 6 years before their headband snapped. Looks like I’m done buying TurtleBeach.
I really love the audio on this headset BUT unfortunately it’s not big head friendly. It so tight. Doesn’t loosen up even after having it stretched for days. So I no longer use them
I got this to replace my previous gen1 set that broke after I moved. The sound is a little different but it's probably just been so long I don't remember how I had my gen1 set up. Very comfortable and I like the better design for the adjuster not putting so much stress on the swivel. The microphone tilting inward is a nice change as well.
This is the second pair I’ve bought and they have both broken when my son put them on
It’s common sense for headset gamers to know how to work a headset so it very easy figuring out the buttons and setting it up. I really like the quality of the headset and the ear cushions are really comfortable. The sound quality is good also, though when I first turned them on I could hear myself and any background noises but it was fixed when I plugged the usb stick into the Xbox. There are 4 different sound modes and the sound overall is a solid 9/10 for its price.
This headset is trash. It does not work with COD MW2.
If you're having an issue with mic monitoring picking up every sound in your house, there's two ways you can adjust it.
1. turn dongle switch from "xbox" to "usb" then adjust audio setting from the home button audio menu at the bottom right. Then switch back.
2. Download the Turtle beach audio hub app on your PC or Mac. Connect dongle in "usb" mode and plug headset into a port. Update and change mic monitoring levels from app.
Bought these for my fiancée and the mic monitoring was terrible. Now it's much better.
Bought this and after 2 months they messed up. Tried contacting someone never got a reply.
The turtle beach 600 stealth Gen 2 max has a defect where the mic doesn't work so you can talk to people in the game.
I always used turtle beach for my headsets and I thought getting this one would work just as well since I broke my other one. But after pairing it to my Xbox my friends said it sound like I’m talking through a drive threw headset. I can hear everything just fine, others just can’t hear me well no matter what I do to the settings. So would not recommend this :/
My son is into gaming and YouTube, loves the headphones, very comfortable, quality materials great sound, no problems. Highly recommend!! Wireless is the way to go
Turtle beach has been doing A+++++ headsets for a while now. This latest version does not disappoint. For big heads like me, there will be a break in period where they will fit in better. The sound quality was excellent to me and my friends said the microphone worked very well .
So far I haven’t decided whether to exchange/return. Its a good headset. EXCEPT tgat its super tight, if i wear it for more tgan 2hrs, i start getting a headache and i can hear my heartbeat in my ears. This is plastic for the most part, so im worried it’s going to break whenni try and stretch it out. I’ve been leaving it on my couch armrest to try stretch it a little. So far it works, but after awhile it goes back to squeezing my head. I can wear small hats so either these are make for kids, or people of a smaller nature , idk.
The battery live is great so far, however I’ve only had them for a week, but i use them daily for a few hours each day, and have had no trouble.
The mic is something to get used to, it picks up everything *BUT only in YOUR ear not in a chat. So unless you have your name pop up in chat, you’ll be wondering if people can hear everything you do. Im accustomed to noise canceling headphones, so this is new, I’ve been told it helps you from speaking loudly (for the people around you irl lol, and I haven’t gotten gripped at for being too loud, so thats good).
It have 2 different volumes, 1for in game, 1 for chat. So far it’s worked as it’s supposed to, I feel ive had to turn up my chat louder, however some people are just quiet.
The color is a cute aqua. The cushion is thick and comfy around your ears. Only complaint is how narrow/tight the band is, i have to wear it closed cuz i have a small head, or they just tip over if i pull the band further apart. So idk
Had these for about 4 months until I picked them up to put them over my head and they snapped. I always handled them with care, knowing how stiff the plastic was. On top of that, I had problems with people in my party hearing every little sound in my room that I could never remedy.
Battery lasted long though so that was nice
Works great and battery lasts a long time.
They worked fine but when I turned them on last time the button broke & is stuck down, now I can't turn them off of course it's way passed the return window 🤦♂️
I already had a pair of Gen 2s and they've been absolutely lovely to work with. Same issues with them in terms of build quality. Some people report about the foam hurting their ears after prolonged use. I can't say I agree with that and I even wear glasses so, take that how you want.
It does come with the 2.4Ghz adapter which is great! I really dig the color and the controls are easy to work with.
MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE HEADSET VIA THE COMPUTER. If you have a question on how to do it, TurtleBeach has great FAQs and can help walk you through it so you don't break anything.
Overall I love the color, love the product iteration and will continue to recommend this as a basic, "pro-entry-level" headset.
They work well, the mute function is nice and is nice to not have to hear all the other annoying 11 yos talking crap to each other over the chat feature. I just have to listen to my own.
Solid headset that doesn't break the budget. Had my niece try them on for a round of Fortnite and she said loves them. The headset is very comfortable and has a good feel to it. It's not light like paper but feels strong and built to last. Battery headset goes awhile before needing to charge. Mic came out clean and clear on the other side during testing. Huge fan of the flip-to-mute mic and the cushions as they don't heat up the ears (like some do after extended gameplay).
It's not a top of the line headset by any means but is a tremendous value at current prices ($99.95 at time of writing)! I'd say perfect for your casual/kid gamer.
I had no problem with these headphones until the plastic adjustable band snapped on me when sliding them over my head. I am very gentle with my electronics and these just failed in a comically strange way. My window for returning them is up and now I’m out $150 (on sale now for $99 but I’m not buying these again). I have been very gentle with these since I don’t normally shell out money for headphones. These were my first nice pair and they even had a drawer in my entertainment console for them. I’m beyond annoyed at how these broke. Guess I’ll have to buy some epoxy and hope I can repair them.
Long time ago when Xbox 360 first came out, I also bought a pair of turtle beach headsets after hearing they were one of the best headsets you could own in terms of sound, comfort, and quality and they weren't kidding, I loved them and now years later being a PC Gamer I bought this pair because wanted to re-live my Xbox 360 days and while the headset worked great, it was specifically designed for Xbox and not PC which meant I couldn't have a custom sound. That may not be a big deal to some people but I like to customize my sound because without it, the headset to me sounded like a cheap pair of headphones.
I've always like turtle beach headsets. I bought this for my 13 year old son for his Xbox. It has pretty good sound but it's definitely built cheap. My son had it one his head and our 1 year old grabbed it and snapped the earmuff right off. He only had it a couple weeks. For now we have it duck taped on until I buy him a new headset. I think I'll go with a different brand next time. This is his 3rd or 4th Turtle beach
Pros, Likes, and Features
*Comfortable on the head, works well for my 5 year old daughter and wife both
*Light enough to wear for hours on end playing
*Battery lasts for hours also, no issue with battery or using these at all
*Works going back and forth from XBOX Series X and Playstation 5
Cons, Dislikes
*No real concerns
*Headset was a little tight at first but putting it where it would stretch out with some books between the earpieces when not using them it started stretching out a little and was less tight making them much more comfortable to wear
Very disappointed with my product
was nice but cheap broken after couple months
I used to love turtle beach series but the 600 And 700 gen 1&2 break wayy to easily and it’s the same thing everything time the so called adjusting part of the headset is the worst and the weakest part of the whole thing it would last maybe 3-4 months before i put them on and poof it breaks

TP-Link products have been reliable until now, but confusion exists with different product lines. Tapo products sold in the US are not compatible with those sold in Europe. A user had issues with Tapo buttons and hub failing to communicate. Integration with Home Assistant is desired. Overall, the products are functional and affordable, but some additional components may be required for proper functionality.
