A great book for coaches looking to continue to develop their craft. After reading it I know I will pick it up and re-read sections and continue to pick out details and things that I can use in coaching. This book and Soccer Tough do a great job of presenting actionable items to help any coach take their program to the next level and provide a top level experience for their players.

  • Great For Coaches and Players

This book is exactly what coaches and players need to get ahead in the game. I read Dan's first book three times so was really looking forward to the release of Soccer Brain and it was worth the wait! As soccer becomes a more complex game, we need to be able to help players today with psychological issues just as much as technical ones. Dan teaches you how to deal with the different personalities you will have on the team and ways to help their game, as well as great feedback from his own experience. I will have this book close with me for our new season and strongly encourage other coaches to pick up a copy too!!

  • A new insight into coach and player attitudes

I'm still only half way through this book as some of its proposals are fairly challenging but it is a highly thought provoking book and I do feel it has many good points and valid, different approaches to coaching of players at all levels.
    Evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

I intend to take up some of the authors challenges and ask my players to as well. Very Good.
