The latest UI update taking away customization of the bottom banner make the application almost unusable. There is no list of sections anymore either. App is now extremely difficult to navigate and almost impossible to trade with. Please go back to the old layout. It was much more efficient and customizable.
I couldnât find watchlist either. But most annoying is no update unless you click something
I have to constantly restart the app

Ver 13.5.0.6: It is frustrating that Schwab totally ignores issues identified. Below problem remains (as many here have identified). It is unacceptable for the customer to need to sign out or reinstall app simply to see/edit active orders.
Additionally, there is no consistency on bid/ask reporting - position, gain/loss, order listing, and actual order seem to randomly report different numbers. How hard can it be to utilize the same source?

Ver 13.4.1.2: Problem continues with order status page. It constantly shows blank/refuses to load. Not only can a customer not see status, this is the only way to access for order change or cancellation. Having tech support say it requires deleting and reinstalling app is an unacceptable answer.
Then have to hard reset the app and restart again to get it to load. This happens every time I launch the app.
Used to work flawlessly.
I love banking with Charles Schwab, but mobile banking is a big priority for me when working with a bank. This app is buggy and freezes up constantly, making it unusable. Itâs not just a slowness issue, literally the whole app will free all the UI will become unusable. Please bring your app up to the high standards that the rest of your services are at.
The app is smooth but the new feature of the trading page - just when you are about to place your trade - doesnât have the bid offer which means you are trading blind at the last critical moment when markets move. So you canât adjust the trade at the last minute. You have to find out what the new bid/offer is and then change your trade price after the fact. Needs to be fixed asap.
Back to old version please, separate order status screen
Has anyone at Schwab used the mobile check deposit activity? You have the check exactly inside the borders and it says move closer. How close do you want me to be? When taking a picture of the back it says Flip Check no matter how the check is oriented. It also takes the picture as soon as it says Flip Check. Make up your mind. Test this stuff and make certain it is easy to use and not confusing.
Please have better formatting for U.S. Research Roundup in the Tile ViewâŚway too hard to read!
See above.Confirmed with Schwab representative online
It should be a hate crime for you to update your app and not make it back compatible with outdated versions of ios. LOL. Seriously though. When I open the App it says to update. When I click update it says its already installed. So I click open and it says to update. Update says itâs already installed. Can yâall get it together?
This is preety stupid but the application keeps on asking me to update it. When i go to the app store to click update, i find that the app is already up to date. This jas been going on for few weeks now. For some reason it keeps on asking me to update app but app in app store doesnât show an available update.
My mobile deposits fail to process about 30% of the time. I deposit from the same checking account but doesnât work all the time. And need to resubmit. Challenge is the processing time varies since not sure if successful or not. And cannot deposit at Schwab branches in banking accounts.
I like that I can see all of my banking and investing accounts on demand. I only wish transfers to linked accounts didnât take 5 days to process.
Seriously. You have an app for your phone that requires a text to send a code to your phone and thenâŚ..the app resets so the code is no longer valid. Cmon, this issue has been solved already. Fix it
I canât even login. Even after a reinstall. Totally broken.
In this day and age and from a company with this much capital, I expect far more. I also have been expecting a complete refresh for years now. Maybe this is just a sign to find a new platform.
If you tap Trade from the bottom menu, it just dies. App is unusable for trading except looking at balance.
Well, now you canât even refresh your portfolio without force quitting the app and restarting. Itâs incredible how every iteration of this app is worse than the one before it.
I used to have a TDAmeritrade account, but Schwab bought the company and my holdings were transferred to Schwab at the beginning of 2023.
I hate the Schwab app â it isnât user friendly and it lacks a lot of features that were found in the TDAmeritrade app.
Sorry, but this app is worthless if Iâm not able to view my check images.
Also, filtering transactions is terrible. I canât even filter by direct deposits.
It just keeps showing the error âSchwab Mobile Terms of Useâ and returning to the login screen. I hate that I have 100% of my IRA and Roth with them. I just want to see my balances.
It would be useful to have parameters to capture accurate photo of checks.
Huge issues with the UI since the update
Landing screen used to have graph of portfolio. Now it shows âData is currently unavailableâ. On website this works fine.
Overall I have nothing but good experience with Schwab in both banking and trading. Just that the last update seems to when buying or selling stocks it is more complicated. You have to do extra work to execute orders and trying to find out how much cash you have to make. Trade. Developers please make ordering or selling stocks simple and less steps.
Seems like every other recent update breaks account groupings. Do these releases get tested?
Schwab has made major improvements. Easier to trade. Easier to get an overview of positions, see gains or losses.
My only suggestion is to enable buying CDs on phone and IPad apps. Otherwise I love it.
The app suddenly became unusable, after logging in a pop up shows up saying âloding dataâ and it never goes away.
