  • The liquid had leaked around the cap and hardened...

    I had to use pliers to get the lid off and it was down hill from there; the sprayer head sprayed in streams and blobs no matter how I adjusted it; I had to pour it into another spray bottle that I had to even get any use out of this stuff at all...

  • Can't open bottle

    As far as I can tell the only way to get to the contents is to punch a hole in the top.

  • Poor product

    The bottle was dirty and it had leaked when it arrived. When the top was removed there was a lot of pressure built up. The contents had separated and there were congealed clumps. We were only able to get a small amount to come thru the sprayer. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

    • Works easy and fast

      Was able to brush on small areas of rust on edges of sheet metal, welds, and other areas that started showing signs of corrosion. Just painted on the liquid, waited for it to turn dark and painted as needed. Typically covered it with paint or undercoat. Would work in larger formats I think, but a little went a long way. Might try a larger coverage next time.

    • Kind of works. Kind of not.

      All I can say is that I applied three applications to one rusty area of car, painted it, and now beginning to show rust in same area after a few weeks. Makes me wonder if any of these so called rust converters really works. Have tried others with same result as this one. And, I followed all instructions carefully.

    • Sprayer is not good but the product is awesome

      Several reviews I read before purchase said the sprayer isn’t great. They were correct. I used a foam brush to apply & the product did exactly what the manufacturer said. It worked beautifully & there is no further rust anywhere.

    • Converts rust to a black finish.

      I hav used it on a variety of different rusty metal. Turns the rust black and when it's dry I paint right over it. Don't know about how it will last.
      The sprayer was a waste of time, it clogged right up and never sprayed a thing. Even though I shook it up real good it still has solids in it. I just brushed it on.

      Tthis pruduct turns rust to a black paint that handens like metal then wen you paint over it it holds the paint in an amazing way i recomend to try it ot wont let yoo down

      Product is too thick for my liking, doesn't spray well, too much prep work needed it seems, hazardous and can injure skin, eyes ect., final result not to my liking either.

    • Easy to use, does it all except stopping rust

      The product is simply enough to apply, dries fast and you cant paint over it which is why I gave it 2 stars. Problem is, it is useless at stopping rust. After I removed all of the surface rust, I applied this product, primed and painted over it. Things looked good until the first rainfall. It was instantly rust again. Now that it is winter, my fender is trashed. This item does not work as advertised.

    • Beware of damaged products

      I used to like this product but after the last shipment I got worried about leaked/damaged product residual that got into my hands while I opened the package. Not sure if it is safe/legal to return a flammable product in a damaged bottle like it is shown in the pictures.

      Husband likes this product a lot. He said it works just as described. He just bought a box trailer that had several rust areas. Went on easy and now is ready to paint.
