Popur Litter Box: A Game Changer for Cat Owners

We started with one box just to try it out. We were 100% happy so we bought an additional one for the basement (3 cats). 2nd box has worked just as great as the first. We did have an issue with the automatic lid on the waste box quit working:( Contacted Popur through messenger w/ a video of the issue and they are sending on out for a free replacement. All within 24 hrs. AWSOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I currently have 4 cats and had 4 litter boxes which were being scooped 3 times a day. All my cats took to the Popur very fast including the 17 year old who will sometimes potty outside the litter. It was very easy to set up. Customer service answered my questions right away. I am using inexpensive clumping litter. We have one over curious cat who sits on it an watches it, but he he getting away from it. I only have 1 other litter box. I will be buying a second one in a few months. I made steps using one of the boxes that came with it and some scratch pads. My cats, my son and me love Popur it has made our daily chores so much more easy. We change this after 3 days. With 4 cats. 2 kittens, 1 year old and 17 year old cat. If you are on the fence just jump over. It has saved us enough time to be worth the cost.

POPUR is a great litter box for my 4 cats. It's open concept is just right for my cats. I have 4 cats and they are all different sizes. It's great for my big cat to my smallest cat. They have no problem using the popur box. Panther loves watching the machine sifting through the litter. Great value for the money. I should have bought this a long time ago.

Super easy to set up. We bought 2 and it has saved us so much time! Super easy to clean. Quite operation so it doesn't scare the kitties! We Love It!

We did lots of research, having 3 cats takes lots of your time cleaning everyday twice a day. We decided to give Popur a chance based on pricing, capacity and other reviews. It’s been three months and we’re actually impressed, it works. We only need to change the poo bag once a week (with 3 cats), it helps save sooooo much time it’s definitely a life changing product. We highly recommend to anyone that’s looking for one, give this product a try you’ll be pleased

I finally took the leap and bought this litter box after serious research on all kinds. I’m happy to report that it’s the best splurge I’ve bought in a very long time!!! All three of my cats from kitten to old lady adjusted right away to it but loved to watch it work. You can customize the frequency on the time it takes to clean it but I just have mine set to go off after each use and I have yet to ever even smell anything from it. So many people come in our house and are floored that there is absolutely no litter box odor at all even with three cats. I can’t imagine life without it and hope I never have to😜 If your thinking about it, think no more just buy it!

Works pretty good especially mechanically. The phone application is not the best, but to me as long as this thing does what’s supposed to I’m good. Their customer service also works. They don’t answer your questions or emails right away but they do, and they will help in any way possible. So, I’m happy with it so far.

I bought one of these in March/April and I have to say it makes me so happy. I love only having to change a bag, and no longer constantly having to scoop. My husband hates doing the litter box so he wont. I have 3 cats, usually I only have to empty the waste bin/ container once a week. I also recently had neck surgery, if I'd been still having to use my old rolling litter box (manual) I would have had to have my adult daughter come over like every other day to control the litter and with this machine thats 100% unnecessary, I can just make my husband lift the bag out. Also the customer service through their facebook messenger was promp and super helpful the one time I did start having an issue with the lid motor. They said they'd replace it as soon as I sent the video showing mine wasn't working right, and that was just recently. There are some quirks, and I do recommend watching their tutorial videos for things like taking the grate off so you know how to get in there and clean it once in awhile. I had one time it tried to stop flipping the litter to the bin but it was just because some litter was stuck behind a roller and was fixed with a deep clean. Overall this has saved me money on the amount of litter I use, time for how often I have to mess with it, and it has saved me so much effort. Also my room smells better now.

I have 9 resident cats and various fosters at any given time. I have 4 brands of automatic litter boxes (LR4, PetKit PuraMax, Petree Automatic are my others) but none had enough space for my largest cat (22 lb purebred Maine Coon). When Popur came out I was interested but just not sure. With the price being so much better that other brands eventually my husband gave the green light and we got a Popur. It’s become the preferred litter box of all my cats and my big main coon can finally use one too. The open box design gives him enough headspace.

When the plastic waste box became available I ordered one of those too. At first I had a problem with the lid opening device but I reached out to Popur’s support and they were very friendly and quick to send me a redesigned replacement lid opening hinge. The Popur still worked before the replacement arrived, I just had to use it in manual mode (which still beats scooping!). The front is low enough that even my short-legged munchkin cats can easily get into the litter bed but they also have a ramp that can be used for smaller or older arthritic cats. We will be replacing a couple of the other automatic boxes with more Popur boxes.

It's quiet, well designed, easy app and great customer service. Get it with the plastic receptacle box so you can wash regularly. Once the poop is in the receptacle, there's minimal smell after kitty is done. Looks cool, it's open wide for cat and very safe functionality. So worth it, no more scooping multiple times a day.

This litter box is very large and is surprisingly quiet when it cycles. My cats like to bite and scratch the cardboard waste box so it would have been great if it came with the plastic bin instead. Sometimes the litter sticks to the grate but it is easy to clean. Overall, I think it's a good product.

It works overall better then could have asked. Well worth the money and not as pricey as others

My 2 cats took to the Popur right away. I change the bag about every 10 days, no odor, no mess. Love the ease.

We bought our Popur a few months ago and absolutely love it, it can fit two of our cats at a time and they all use it which is a plus! We had an issue recently with our lid but the Popur team responded and addressed the issue immediately, thank you Popur for communicating and fixing our issue!

The Popur is a great machine. I purchased it thinking it was going to be just ok but I was wrong. I have four cats and I was cleaning the litter box twice a day. Since I have the Popur machine I change the bag once every four to five days. The machine is a lifesaver. The cats had no trouble getting use to it almost as soon as I started it. I would recommend it to anyone with cats that don’t like cleaning litter boxes.

I received this product few days ago. 1. Very quiet- hardly hear it running. 2. Item was already put together, only needed to plug it in. 3. All three of my cats have used it..and it has a very quick cleaning cycle. It is big so make sure to measure your area. I am usung the Slide cat litter (about 7 pounds) and so far no issues. Smallest cat 7lb to big boy of 17lb.

There is a little piece of plastic that came cracked/broken. The crack doesn't affect the function. I have a litter robot also but popur is better. Would buy again. *update* They replaced the broken piece free of charge.

Functions pretty well. Didn't work out for me, one of my cats refused to use it. Seller worked with me on a refund. Check that your cat isn't scared by large moving objects before trying it out.

 We have have had several automatic liter boxes including the liter robot. The liter robot was the worst liter box that we used for odor and the customer service for them was terrible. I contacted them about the odor issue and they said, “that happens, you can buy a new globe”. We had already spent $450.00!

The Poplur is the best design and customer service that we have received is the best so far from the other automatic liter boxes that we have used. We have three adult cats and we regularly foster liters of kittens for the Humane Society so we have a lot of cats testing this unit out. The unit works pretty well, but it’s not perfect. The thing to remember is that no liter box is hands free.

We have had this box for two months and it works well most of the time. The frame did break and I contacted the company and they immediately wanted to send me a new frame free and 100 trash bags for the inconvenience. The customer service is outstanding for this company! I do wish that they had a phone number, but happy that they contacted me directly through text message so that I could easily communicate with them instead of email. Overall, I’m happy with this liter box and I love that my cats enter a clean box each time. I used to clean out the liter boxes twice a day and this has saved me time as well. It does help with odor if you have the plastic waste bin and put baking soda into the bottom immediately when you put in the fresh trash bag. If you decide to buy your own trash bags. Get SCENTED 50 gallon trash bags to fit that wide unusual size.

For our three adult cats we have to change the bag about every 4-5 days. When I change the trash bag I also clean off the frame as it can get dirty as well. Also, I recommend buying directly from Popur because you can immediately chose to get the plastic waste bin. The cardboard box is ridiculous and doesn’t work for odor at all. I contacted the company about this issue and they sent me a 50 percent off coupon for the plastic waste bin that I purchased right away and threw away the cardboard bin when it arrived. If you order on their website you can skip this hassle and get the plastic waste bin with your purchase.

This machine is a game changer!! I have wanted a litter box like this for years. It’s awesome. My cats adjusted so well they now stand and watch it empty itself. 5 Stars all the way

This is worth every penny. I clean it out once every 3-4 weeks and it's easy to maintain. The new bin on the back is a must have. It is a little big, but it fits perfectly in my bathroom and there's almost no odor. Before I used to clean my cats litter every few days, now it's just once a month. This is an actual lifesaver.

Yea we love this product!! It has made our lives so much easier! We have three cats that are all male and their litter can get really smelly!!! One who wont even try to cover 🫣. This box keeps the smell down almost entirely until it needs to be changed! I only fully change litter once a month and empty thr bag once a week. Saves alot of cost for litter. Its easy to clean! I think this is well worth the money!!

My cats all wanted to try it at first and would sit and watch it clean up their potty! They were fascinated at first! It was an easy transition and now they use it like any other box!

I pondered this purchase for a long time. I researched this and several other self cleaning boxes. I have 4 cats and needed help with the never ending chore of keeping them clean.
My Popur arrived four days ago. Setup was pretty simple. My initial moment of joy ended when I could not get waste bin to open and close. I followed every troubleshooting thing I could find with no luck. The display does not show the bin plugged in at all. I have to keep the Popur on manual and open and close the lid by hand. I have contacted support and I am hoping for a resolution soon. I will update my review at that point.

The Popur has been great for my wife and me. There is so much to love about it. It gives us a lot more time each day by not having to clean the litter box. The app is great too.

Always nice to check the stats and make sure our two cats are going regularly. Watching the machine clean itself is also pretty cool to watch and show others. It’s very easy to tell that the company put in a lot of time and effort trying to make the Popur the best it could be.
