  • On the way to moviepark.

    Nice place and quiet to go movie park . Alot of parking space. Breakfast is good. Really like the place. So many room and big and clean als wel.we really enjoy staying afew night. Great place to stay everything is close supermark. Restaurants.

  • Absolutely unacceptable

    I would discourage booking this hotel. While the lobby area presents well, the remainder of the hotel is in disrepair and is not well maintained nor cleaned. The hallway ceilings are partly removed, but the dust from the ceilings has not been vacuumed from the carpets. Guest room doors are flimsy and don’t block the noise well at all. Guest room carpets are stained. Bathroom was not clean. Shower stall had a malfunctioning door, very low lighting, and mold/mildew on the ceiling above, compounded by an immovable shower head that pointed at the wall instead of at the occupant. Quite an uncomfortable night, but unfortunately arrived too late to make other arrangements. Best steer clear. There are better options in the area.

  • Old dark and worn rooms – terrible food

    We visited the hotel for one night driving thru Germany. We got an old and worn room, the cleaning standard was low – found a used tooth picker on the bathroom floor. The worst part however was the restaurant, all though the hotel on its homepage offers both a la carte and buffet dinning – only buffet was available, which I find unsafe in these Corona times. The food on the buffet was terrible, I think it was the worst meal in my entire life. The meat was extremely overcooked and dry, the pasta was hard after being heated on for a long time, the potatoes was like cardboard etc. Furthermore, we both got sick during the night from eating in the restaurant, rather scarring – how can they keep Corona out of the buffet when they can’t keep bacteria out of it. Need I say that we skipped breakfast the next day.…

  • Service disappointing

    We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, but it was rather a disappointment this time. Last time we visited, the hotel was already old. We would have expected a renovation, but nothing of the sorts. We arrived at about 18h30, and room was still not available. We were offered a free drink, which was nice. After about an hour, we went to our room, and it only had 3 beds. We were company of 4. Back to the reception, we were given a new room. Room was basic, bit beaten down, but clean. Only one chair to sit. After going to sleep the fire alarm went off middle of the night. After realising what was happening, we joined other hotel guests to the nearest emergency exit. We stood at the back of the hotel for at least 20 minutes with about 50 other hotel guests. At the back of the hotel there was a forest, we walked to the left and to the right, but there was no clear evacuation route. All the time the alarm was still going off. We didn't see any member of the staff! After the alarm stopped, guests went back to their room. We went to have a look at the front of the hotel, fire department was leaving the premises. Still nobody came to inform us. Also in the morning when we enquired about what happened, staff was very unfriendly, some didn't even know what happened. Even if you don't want to explain 50 times (which is your job), they could have put up some information boards or something, and at least apologise. We only got a 'because of the gas'. The hotel might not be able to help what happened, and alarm going off. But they should have taken care of their guests, and at least keep them informed and maybe apologise ?…

  • Nice hotel for staying overnight

    Stayed for one night on business. Nice room, clean and confortable. Very nice bathroom. Had dinner in restaurant, poor quality food (had a la carte schnitzel) and poor service (came late, but they were already busy with cleaning up). Breakfast was fine, good selection and quality.

    This hotel has had it good times about 20-30 years again. The business catering was not really good and the hotel needs some renovation. Maybe after a modernization this place will be good again, but in this state a clear no

  • Horrible, dont do it

    The only not renovated Van der Valk... allot of noise from the bar untill 02:00, a lying staff member, a room thats so hot that it feels like a sauna... and in the middle of nowwhere... it was horrible

  • A pleasant stay during a business trip

    Van Der Valk brand is for me a quarantee of quality.. Comfortable accommodation for reasonable price.. Nice and helpfull staff, tasty food in hotel restaurant.. Good loacation, close to highway exit..

    All was excellent , music , food , entertainment. Room was verry clean , modern bathroom , good beds and THE restaurant was also fabuleus , cosy lounge down satires and free drinks in the room , only 1 key

  • Nice hotel

    Highly recommended family hotel. Nice rooms, neat and spacious. Good breakfast, variety of choice and coffee just right. Kids had loads of fun outside. Nearby Movie park Germany, the best closest hotel.
