      Not the best. I ordered a bag, received the wrong one. Promised to have the correct one sent and they sent the wrong Bag again. Then failed to refund the post fund for the second bag. And then followed up with an email to say they have not got the item in stock.

    • Stay Away Ordered slippers on website which…

      Ordered slippers on website which doesn’t initially show male and female options. After ordering go back onto ŵebsite and after some investigation realise there are male and female sizings. Immediately send an email (can’t phone as it’s in the evening) asking to cancel my order as I need to order different sizes. First thing the next morning I call them following up from my email and am told they will try to stop the slippers being sent out but they can’t guarantee this because they are soooo busy. Slippers arrive and one pair are way too big so call and ask if they will cover returns postage, NO is the answer. Go onto live chat to make complaint and am told that as a company they should not be liable for any returns because I made a mistake. I didn’t make a mistake, the website was misleading in the first place and didn’t indicate male or female sizing on the slippers page, if it had I would have purchased the right items. They also said, “if we were to do that (returns postage because of their error) for every customer, we wouldn’t survive as a small business”. Businesses survive, and thrive, thanks to returning customers and glowing recommendations, none of which they will get from me. Also wasn’t impressed that I was charged £25 for the slippers but the price tag says £20. All in all not a great experience so stay clear and order with a different company with better customer service and genuine customer care.

      I hate to leave such a negative review, but I would not like to think that others might be subject to the experience I have just had with this store. I bought a pair of very expensive mittens from Parasol in a size XS as they were described as unisex, and I have average sized female hands. The gloves have arrived and they are far too big, and so clearly sized for men. I contacted the store to ask whether--in view of the incorrect sizing--they would consider covering the return postage, or at least their returns handling fee, and was advised that because they had sent out the right size they would not. When I pushed on back on this I got the passive aggressive response "Is there anything else I can help you with today?", which I was really quite shocked by. In view of this experience, I now feel cautious to return the mittens, because I don't have faith the return will be processed.Don't make the expensive mistake I did, guys--get your mittens from elsewhere.

      I Ordered an item for a gift last year for Christmas and it did not fit I spent over $40 to return it, I sent it in plenty of time to be within the return period but they said they received it after the return period and would not issue a refund despite the fact that I sent them a picture of the postal receipt showing the date I mailed it. Awful experience!

      I can’t fault Parasol Store. Lowest prices online by far for the containers I bought, Parasol Store kept me updated throughout regarding the status of the order, which arrived the following day. Amazing first experience and I recommend them without any hesitation.

    • Does feel like a scam?

      I recently ordered a Ladies shirt from Parasol. They sent me a men’s shirt from the same brand, honest mistake I thought but then they returned the exact same item to me even though I clearly explained what item I wanted (the ladies shirt). I contacted them again and was reassured by Rian that he would personally make sure I was sent the right item. Guess what? after the second attempt at exchanging the item they once again returned the same wrong item back. It became clear to me that they didn’t have the item I ordered in the first place as they then removed it from their website completely. I’m obviously incredibly disappointed and frustrated by this and I now do wonder if this isn’t a scam. The wrong item they sent me isn’t even listed on their site for purchase! Suspicious!

      Great service. Ordered just slightly past the cut off time on a Friday and the parcel arrived the next day at 9am! I'd spoken with head office team about getting it out as it was a birthday present. The member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Received a free indi magazine with my purchase worth £7. Would highly recommend Parasol. Thanks
