Microsoft Word receives mixed reviews from customers, with some complaining about having to pay for a subscription and frequent interruptions asking for reviews. Others find the program easy to use with buried features and lack of visible margins. Some experienced issues with renewing licenses, accessing their Office suite on Mac, and losing their documents. While many find the program good, its references and work cited part are lacking, and it sometimes activates unwanted features.

Not paying for a subscription for a thing I use only a couple times a year. I already bought the program. That being said, I will just update everything into adobe InDesign. Enough of this game. I am incredibly annoyed that I can't use my files for a program I already paid for.

good
It is always having a pop up box asking for grant access and when I click grant access nothing happens it just pops up again. It's absolutely annoying and adding more to my work flow to have to constantly force quit and restart the application. I would give it a zero but it wasn't available.
I PAY for Microsoft Word. What gives them the right to interrupt my workflow and nag me to review their software?
If we all start leaving one-star reviews everytime software that we pay for interrupts us to review them, maybe they will offer a way to opt-out of these intrusions.
tool bars are different than windows versions not nearly as intuitive. spell check settings are clumsey and as a result it will miss many errors.
I use to use Word multiple times every day; but I retired and moved to FL. Upon my arrival in FL, I Opened my latop and was surprised that I was locked-out of Word and had to purchase an annual subscription to useWord. I wasn't sure I'd need it or miss it now that I'm retired; so I rebelled and put it off. Finally, approx 1 year ago, I reluctantly paid fot a one-yr subscription and upon opening Word to create a document and draft an accompanying letter, I was shocked to see that the format / layout had changed dramatically during my absense and would require I spend more time re-learning it than I had available as I had too many other priorities after a major change in my life and relocating homes is a big job, in case you're not aware. . . . Consequently, I never attempted to use Word - not once; so I feel ripped-off. . . . You may offer an online training class or a live class at the Apple Store in Naples, FL, but I haven't investigated it. . . . Frankly, one reason I've never taken the time to learn the NEW, Re-designed Word program is because I'm deeply troubled that Bill Gates, in my humble opinion, has "Gone Off the Deep End" and became entrenched in the Progressive Liberal Movement and specifically George Soros. Bill Gates became The TV Spokesman in support of COVID, the initial Vaccine an ALL the "Boosters". He has not only made a number of bold controversial statements about COVID on TV and other media and invested sizeable amounts of his personal money in the COVID vaccine & other vaccinations . . . . I've never met Bill Gates and don't travel or associate with his circle of people; but it appears even his wife is not comfortable with the direction he's chosen to take his life. . . . . Surely, Gates read "The Road Less Traveled" several years ago and vividly remembers, as I do, that LIVE spelled backwards is EVIL and EVIL people are Master Manipulators. He may benefit by re-reading it; then look in the mirror and ask himself "Has my fame and fortune (financial success) with MicroSoft overtaken my ability to discern right from wrong; good vs. . . .evil and in doing so have I become an Arrogant, Greedy Elitist. Do I see myself as equal or superior to God/Jesus Christ and therefore have lost sight of being a good and decent human being; and am I using the minds and bodies of minors inappropriately to glorify my self? . . . Bottom Line, I should learn to use Pages since it appears at first glance that I have to "start from scratch" and completelyre- learn Word
This program is great, but sometimes it will bring up an older version of something I have already saved to OneDrive, which complicates things just a bit. It's nice it saves older versions, but adds a little challenge. This may all be user error, but overrall a great program.
I can't get the dialogue box to go away. I have never setup Keycahin and don't want to, but thedemand to use keychain won't go away anymore.
I have spent over 6 hours trying to acces my Office suite from my previously purchased license for Mac. I have tried to contact customer several times througout the day. No online support or phone support. Very dissappointed in MS today.
I Can't find word count and some other functions in earlier versions on the Mac.
Still can't find how to turn on and turn off text marks like the one for Paragraph.
In Home, and Layout, often used icons are mixed in with less used ones.
MS tries to sabotage Apple in every way possible while putting up a front - just like Gates with Epstien. No waring need to update nor instructions. Just quits working.
I opened the product for the very first time, and I hadn't even typed a single character when you interrupted me to get a review. Well, I guess here you go. Thanks for the spam.
It's impressive how great this app is at burning so much time repeatedly shooting my in the foot as an end user. I like how a file will save succesfully, I close the app, and all of my changes are instead magically gone. Even all the previous repeated saves I've done as I've progressed my work. I also love how Word pretty much takes anything that any UI/UX Dev would say is bad, and goes NO! We'll do it that way. For the user. So it's as horrible to use as possible. Thanks Microsoft! You've managed to impress yet again
wow
So slow on macos, c'mon man! put some heat on it
The older version was probably better, since there is no margin visible when I open the document and not sure how to edit it. Really not that user friendly when it comes to the interface of document.
yes
I hate having to constantly renew a subscription and PAY for a so-so software.
Easy to use, yet tons of fearures buried in it - Worth looking around.
Word processors don't add significant features very often...its conceptually the same program we used in the 1990's...so why would I repay for it every year?!? To give companies a steady income stream for non-innovation? No thanks, I'll find a work around.
This pay every year word is too confusing. I want my 2005 word back - one I only have to pay once for.
Bought Office 2021 outright and installed. exactly 12 months later it automatically deactivated and will not work and will not activate. Microsoft SCAM
Bought MS Word to get my work done.
Now, you're interrupting me, asking for "feedback."
Sheesh. Let me get back to my work.
i lost my entire document when microsoft word decided to close and restart
If it wasn't ubiquitous, I wouldn't use it. The emphasis on keeping it proprietary means that you have to deal with Microsoft constantly. I wish I could use the old downloadable software that leaves you alone and doesn't have to be relicensed every year
I don't ever use Word. The only reason I need it is to open one document that won't open and convert in any other program. But I can't edit or save without a subscription. If I could buy the program once and own it, I would. I won't pay a monthly subscription so I can edit and save one document a month.
The program itself is really good as most human alive knows. However the references/work cited part of the program is really lacking.
I have been paying the office app for more than anyear and I have not had open my docs from time ago
The app is really good, and has a lot of features. However, sometimes it turns on features or functionalities I don't want, such as using a double spaced enter when I only want one.

Paramount Plus customers complain about the app's performance issues, including crashes, buffering problems, and difficulty downloading content. There are also concerns about the frequency of ads, as well as issues with the app's interface, such as no option to skip intros or to mark previously watched content. On the positive side, people appreciate the selection of sports and TV shows available, as well as the low amount of commercials overall.

Cider is an affordable clothing store with good quality and a wide range of options to choose from. Shipping can take longer than expected, and customer service can be unreliable at times. However, many customers are satisfied with their purchases and love the diversity of models on the website.
