  • Poor service and lengthy wait time

    We lunched here with two couples. I had to ask to see menus. It took a long time before our orders were taken and even a longer time before the meals were served. I must say my broodje kroket was good but the others had uitsmuiter. The bread was cold with cold cheese and cold ham with three fried eggs.

  • A hotel with a View !

    Good value for money, clean and spacious rooms with an excellent view over the river Rhine. Bed was too soft to my liking but this is a personal preference. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff ! Sliding window in room was not locking, a bit of a safety breach, trust it has been fixed.

  • Good stay

    Not our first stay, arriving by public transport it is a short walk from the bus station. The girls on reception are very helpful, the tall man in the bar area not so much. We ate dinner one evening, it was excellent, good selection and well presented. Breakfast was plentiful and all from a help yourself buffet (the scrambled egg was a tad dry). The room was clean and warm, towels could have been a better quality. BBC1 and 2 available onn the television.

    very nice location , great for walking in the forrest price-quality 10/10 good fair breakfast room excellent for price , bed okayish shower good - free parking in front nice restaurant & bar in the evening

  • Dirty room.

    Room dirty when I arrived. See my photos. Very disappointing. Room doesn’t have an iron either . The very basics are clearly not present at this hotel - the room should be at least clean. Breakfast foods not covered either - so food hygiene could also be better.

  • Great location but some disappointments

    Positive: excellent location close to numerous places of interest, big quiet rooms with nice view on the river, free parking, e-bike to rent at 25€/day, nice young staff, fantastic terrasse. Negative: reserved game menu not available, restaurant and 3-course menu very average, only one small towel per person.

    The toilet is always damp. I recommend to seal some of the open drainage. There's a lot of silver fish in my room. The staff are always unpleasant. I hope they improve and be more cordial moving forward. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Not worth the expenses, dinner was terrible for the money. Location though was great but that’s about it. The wellness part was a laugh, not even worth to mention. We won’t ever consider to go back ever 😳

  • Great hotel, nice staff

    Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. We had a suite with bubblebath. Nice staff ( especially cleaning staff) and breakfast. After breakfast in the morning hiking in the forest and botanic garden belmonte. Only bummer we’re fridge not working and bath slippers size to small for adult men. My size is 43

    The staff at reception was very kind . The view through the window was beautiful !! ! Room was very clean and well ordered. Nice and big breakfast. But quiet exspensive restoran for the evening dinner.
