I would say Tasty Food, and I love the location, that is all about the hotel plus points, Need improvements on welcoming the guest .Worst is the room, old linen was provided and some were not wash properly had to wait for towels, funny that the attention given to room was very poor. I met a tall guy, latter I got to know as the house keeper from the room boy, I over heard that he is blaming the CEO and management as they just do not care about the guest linen requests and room conditions. take your own linen if you have kids...

Waskaduwa is less than hour out of Colombo and gives you this great getaway location that I'm visiting after a few years.Citrus Waskaduwa had made it through the years of the pandemic and pulled through looking at fresh as it did - the rooms ate still in great condition and pretty much the largest you can expect at this price point.The massive bathroom with jacuzzi in the top suites and spacious bathtubs in the others with room for a whole family.The bar has a modern retro lighting to it and lots of bubbling water does give it a pseudo aquarium feel, but it serves the best cocktails and a variety of local and foreign liquor. I was with a family of several kids so we made use of mostly the large garden, pool (includes a separate kiddy pool) and vast beach of white sand.

We went on a Family day out recently to celebrate my sister’s birthday. From the time we checked in ( we booked 2 day use rooms) till the time we checked out, we were treated very well. Especially by Sanduni, the lady at front office. She was genuinely concerned that our rooms were on the ground floor closer to the buffet restaurant, so that my aged mother did not have to walk much or go up and down stairs to get there. All the other staff we met also very friendly and nice( sorry i dont remember their names)The food was good too.Yes we will visit again!Yes we will recommend this hotel and its staff to our family and friends!

It was a pleasure to stay in Citrus - Waskaduwa. Excellent service from arrival to departure.Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Every staff member with whom I came in contact was attentive. I should specially mention Mr. Nimantha Perera ( Front Office Manager ) who made all arrangements within couple of hours after I requested for a reservation.Rooms are clean with modern furniture and with all amenities you may need.Free WiFi works perfectly.The hotel restaurant had a great buffet for all meals and the staff was very polite & well tranied.The pool area facilities were amazing (which was also incuded in the room price). It is ideal after a long flight.I would recommend this hotel for both buisness or pleasure trips.

The hotel is beautiful and welcoming and rooms are elegant and spacious. The rooms have a balcony and bay window which face the sea and the bathroom is great. We were served by a waiter Sachin, at the a la carte restaurant whom did an excellent job even though he was a trainee. The buffet restaurant had a great spread of food which was delicious and the restaurant managers, Vijitha and Dinusha did an excellent job serving us and were very hospitable during dinner and breakfast. The masseuse did an exceptional job with the massages. The bar is a great place and the drinks served were really good. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again

Yet another visit to Citrus Waskaduwa, this time in December. Love the huge rooms with their comfy beds and luxurious bathrooms...We had one of the suites which had an in-room jacuzzi and used it each day of our visit!The beach is nice and quiet - long stretch of open sea with little huts which let you rest or watch your kids while they play. The hotel has an option for dinner by the beach which makes for a nice romantic evening.The local food was great and I really enjoyed their breakfast. Hot butter cuttlefish is another must-try fish available in room service.Overall, had another great trip
