Patricia was a great host and provided us all of the information we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend away. The house was just as described. We loved being able to enjoy the outdoors and come back to the house and unwind. We were able to unplug from technology and just have a peaceful, relaxing weekend.

The house was very clean and perfect for us before our early morning hike.
Driving up at night, it's worth knowing that the house is set back from the road and a little hard to identify without light. This did afford us some spectacular star viewing, so not all bad!

My second time renting this cabin from Pat. Both trips have been excellent with zero complaints. The cabin is clean and spacious, and is just far enough off the beaten path and yet still convenient to get to town for dinner.

The location is also just a few minutes drive from the OHRV lot in Gorham, and we spent 2 days roaming Jericho state Park enjoying the Great North Woods.

I look forward to coming back yet again!

Was great to get away, have a campfire, and just laugh with the girls. It was exactly what we needed!!

What a great stay we had at Pat's place. We were here for only a night but it has everything a family can ask for. Plenty of space for the kids in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely book again next time I come up!

Caution the driveway entrance is tight, a warning stake on both sides of the drainage ditch might help those that arrive after dark.

My husband, sister and I enjoyed a nice (albeit short) trip to the Gorham NH area for a wedding abd we’re pleased to have found this vacation cabin. We enjoyed porch sitting, the stocked kitchen, fans, and many options for sleeping. Highly recommend. Listing is accurate and owner provided lots of helpful information.

We stayed here on our trip to Santa's Village, and it was exactly what we needed. Very clean cabin in a quiet area, but not too far away from civilization. Nice fire pit. Great communication with Pat during our whole trip. We have stayed up in the White Mountains for several years now, and this is the first time our kids said they were sad to leave "our place". Hope to come back again.

Nice little cabin hope to rent again

The home is clean and comfortable. Set back away from downtown on a nice private spot but still close to everything. It was exactly what I was looking for and look forward to my next stay.

We had an amazing trip and Patricia was a fantastic host! It was our first VRBO experience and I hope any other experience will be as great as this! Had a wonderful time with our family!

This property was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. A true cabin in the woods type of experience. Had a great time outside by the fire pit gazing at the stars and enjoying the local area and Mt Washington Auto Road.

Very clean and comfortable. Private but not isolated. Lovely but not fussy. Did a bunch of day hikes - enjoying 52 with a view - and the cabin was a perfect spot to unwind after being on the trail. Would definitely come again.

Patricia was extremely easy to work with and responded quickly. Perfect house for Presidential Traverse or any hike off RT 2.
No t.v at the house which was enjoyable, allowed for more time to relax and spend time with friends. Great spot, right outside Gorham!

This is a very nice but definitely not luxurious cabin. It served our purposes well when we needed a place to stay when we attended a memorial service in nearby Milan, where there is no accommodation. We did not need anything fancy--just something clean and comfortable, which this was.

That said, the cabin is a bit spartan. There's no Wifi, no heat in the bedrooms, and the kitchen is thinly equipped compared to other VRBOs we've stayed in. For us, that didn't matter, because we weren't planning do any cooking or baking, but if you were planning a family vacation you might be bothered by that. There's also no central heating. The wood heats the house effectively, but the night we arrived it was too late to want to make a fire, so we used the space heater in the living room. That heated the living room fine, but the bedrooms were very cold (mid October). we managed fine with the blankets provided, but it definitely took a bit of time to warm up in our beds!

Our host was very responsive, so I would say that so long as you know what you are getting into , this is a good option, and the price is fair. But if you were expecting more you would likely be disappointed.

One other thing: while we were there we were told the tap water was not good to drink. I don't know if this is the norm or was unusual. Our host supplied enough bottled water, so again, we were ok, but some people might find that unexpected in the United States.

So, overall: a good option for the right people and the right circumstances.

Property was easy to find. It has rustic charm. Great place to unplug and reconnect with friends and family. Close to a few decent restaurants.

Perfect spot to hike northern whites with a few friends. Good location to town but not too busy. Owner helpful with questions. Would book again.

My family and I were doing activities around the area and this was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Easy drive to Santa’s Village. All the amenities the cabin provided were perfect. It was so nice to not have TV and just spend time together as a family. I was concerned about not having cell service, but I never had a problem with Verizon (service was actually better than my house). We took advantage of snow being on the ground our first day and sledded down the hill on the front lawn. It was perfect for my daughter! If you have time, I would highly suggest visiting Moose Brook State Park, absolutely beautiful hikes. Our family will definitely be back. We have already told many of our friends about this gem!
