  • Superb Hotel

    Worth the 30 min drive out of Den Helder. Warm welcome during check in and a fabulous, clean and spacious room. Very high quality room and bathroom fittings throughout. Evening meal was great value and the choice at breakfast was excellent. Will definitely go back there.

    Had lunch at van der Valk. Known for good food at even better prices. It’s okay. Had sole. Again, okay, but not what Sole should be in Holland; fresh and better than in New York or Miami or Lima. But it’s not. Again, okay prices for okay food.

  • Comfortable stay

    The room where I stayed was quite big and really quite. I enjoyed my dinner there, plenty of choices, food and beer. Friendly staff. Things to improve, breakfast and lack of elevators. All in all a good experience.

  • Nice hotel, just off motorway

    Friendly hotel with great restaurant. Nice staff, rooms clean and modern with a small gym also. Shops a short walk away, and breakfast at the hotel is great. Not that many rooms and can be busy with a lot of workers using the hotel.

    Stayed with friends at the hotell. Superb service. Nice and clean rooms. Good food and staff with amazing sense of service and hospitality. I wish you a pleasant stay. You won't be disappointed with this hotel!

    The hotel staff was very friendly, room was clean, the bathroom looked like a new refit very nice. I would stay here again. The hotel is just next to thej motorway, but hardly no noise in the room. Maybe a sauna or fitnessroom would improve this hotel even more

  • Nice hotel

    Stayed two nights in this hotel, very clean and very luxury bathrooms. Had an evening meal in the hotel, Fresh shrimps as a starter, a steak as main course and a dame blanche to finish the meal. Nice food , properly presented and perfect service.

    Really nice and pleasant hotel. Rooms are very big and modern with lovely bathrooms. Each room has a balcony. Restaurant is excellent, my dinner was amazing. Breakfast is bit ordinary but good enough.

  • Good Food.

    We were brought here by a local relative who eats here often. The fact the locals recommend it says something about this place. I ordered the ribs and had more than I could eat. We were here with 4 people and everyone enjoyed the food. The prices were what we expected.

    The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but do not expect too much. I thought a 4 start hotel could give an iron and an ironing board but they did not have any. Restaurant is okay. It was really cold in my room.
