However, some guests experienced issues with room service and air conditioning. Despite this, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a good value for money option in a convenient location.

  • Very comfortable and pleasant hotel.

    Pleasant comfortable hotel with a good outside bar area. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was ample car parking spaces. If I could suggest one improvement, maybe a USB charging point in the room would be good.

    convenient location, clean and well-kept spaces, efficient and friendly service. At the restaurant there are possible options for those who need a gluten free diet. I was also lucky enough to stay during a commemorative dinner with Nspoleone, his soldiers and ladies, wonderful!

  • Great stay

    I stayed two nights at this hotel and everything was fine. Parking lot with no extra fee, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and rest of the room, quiet location and kind staff. 100% recommended. The only drawback is that if your main purpose is to visti Brussels, it is a bit far from the city and the airport.

  • terrible experience

    ongoing music from the terrace until 23.00 and one day until 00.30. All audible even with room closed. Air-conditioning broken, had to open the window. Leakage in shower is fully visible and not repaired. Unpleasant smell in the room

    Excellent hotel, extremely friendly staff and very easy to communicate with. The breakfast was superb and we had fresh towels every day which was a bonus. Restaurant/Room service was great too. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

  • Excellent hotel ideal for a visit to the Waterloo Battlefield

    We had a very enjoyable time at the Van der Valk Hotel Waterloo on a visit to the battlefield at Waterloo. It was very well appointed with great rooms and friendly staff. We would recommend it as a place to stay doing this or just in general.

    Stayed here one night for business, nice hotel, free car parking, great air conditioning although a little loud, excellent shower, good breakfast and dinner in restaurant in evening was excellent t and nice staff and service from everyone

    Super hotel . Amazing food in the restaurant even though I came in late . Spa in the room was great and the bed was super comfy Short stay this time but will stay a few days next time The only thing i would change is the ac. It's not good enough Will definitely come back

    I had some unique needs during my stay... printing PDF documents, calling taxis (and fare being put on my room bill), special dinner service to my room, and a couple other things. I would have had a difficult time with the staff's friendly service. Thank you!

  • Comfort and off the beaten path

    Stayed only one night on business and location chosen as close to where the business is. While not the most elegant or upscale is it serviceable with good people, nicely appointed room, and good service. Would go again if in the neighborhood
