The location was perfect and the staff very helpful. Our room was carefully designed, with the only drawback being the need to climb up a very narrow spiral staircase to reach the (immaculate) bathroom.
Super Service Wonderful Suite Food at the outside cafe and for breakfast excellent Valet parking quick and convenient Location is perfect in the centre of Groningen but still quiet Best place to stay in Groningen Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcxcc
Staff was very friendly, attentive and we felt valued and welcomed. Dinner experience was outstanding food, wine and waiters. Room was very comfortable and we also highly appreciated that the
This hotel is really lovely and very centrally located. The bedroom was very comfortable, stylish and clean. All the bathroom products were from Acqua Di Parma which was a really nice treat. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Fresh flowers in the bedroom was also very nice touch.
We had a fabulous stay at Pinsenhof. We loved the dinner on our first night arrival. It was super to borrow bikes and ride around town. The location is great and the grounds of the hotel very beautiful. You can walk two blocks to the city centre from the hotel or borrow a bike and ride around. We had a terrific stay.
The location of the hotel is great even though it might be hard to get there with car, as it is everywhere in Groningen. Check in was smooth with friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spacious, I stayed in the duplex, which has a narrow stair up to the bathroom. The restaurant is great and the staff are very friendly and services minded, at least at the dinner and for drinks. But breakfast didnt work out well as the dinner. I dont know if they are understaffed or just not organized well. My order (eggs) was delayed severely. There was not many guests so I couldn't understand the delay. I also noted an inconsistency where as the waiter was making fresh coffee for the guests asking but pointed me top the machine when I asked the same. This is the best hotel probably inâŚ
Our 5th time over the years and always a welcome break from our busy life when visiting family in Holland. We love the total package of high end quality of accommodation and service in both hotel and restaurant. The beautiful historical, modernized and well maintained building makes every visit special so no doubt we 'll be back.
The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. My junior suite had all modern upgrades and a gorgeous view of the gardens. The bed was fabulous and plenty of pillows were provided. Complimentary minibar was an unexpected and very appreciated perk. Breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned very promptly each morning. The only thing reducing the joy of the stay was the hot weather. The hotel supplied a high quality fan but it was not sufficient to cool the room, even in the evenings after the temperatures outside fell. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved staying at this beautiful historic boutique hotel. It is a 20 minute walk to the train station. Easy walk to restaurants and into town. The breakfasts are glorious as well as the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English.
Nice atmosphere, very friendly service, clean & modern rooms. Breakfast nice: just missing some extras like Eggs Benedict etc, larger bread choice or alternatives for people with Diabetis etc which would fit to the hotel stars :-) We will def coming back
