A collection of reviews for Ambesonne fabric. Some customers mention that the fabric is of poor quality, with little stretch and a cheap look. Others mention that it is great for making pillows and panties. There are mixed opinions about the print size and the fabric's suitability for sewing. Overall, the fabric is described as stretchy, comfortable, and beautiful, but there are concerns about its quality and use for certain projects.

I didn't expect this to be thin and stretchy, but I used it for a pillowcase for my classroom, so it's fine. I wouldn't recommend it for clothing as the color fades when stretched, but for projects and crafts it's great!
Oh my! This is one of the most beautiful fabrics that I've ever seen! I made a pillow for my niece, and she loved it! I wish I could post a picture, but somehow, I'm having a problem downloading pictures. And, I am a legit reviewer! I buy enough stuff from Amazon, I should buy stock in it!
I can say the colors are pretty. Other than that, it was not as described or expected. The knit is tight with almost no stretch. Though the surface feel is smooth and satiny, it is stiff in a synthetic, plastic way. Would not want it next to my skin and it would not drape in a flattering way on the body. I would expect it to make very nice curtains, tablecloths or a shower curtain with it's light weight, and more structured drape.
The fabric, measured along what appeared tk be the printed delicate edge, was 54ā. I ordered 2 yards so I was annoyed but I could make my leggings with 54ā (Iām tall, but my legs arenāt quite THaT long. I had hoped for enough left over to make a tank from, but noā¦
It was not particularly stretchy though could be intended as a āpower knitā of the type youād use for a workout legging or swimsuit⦠Iāve not checked it in the water yet so not sure⦠but without much stretch, the leggings are skintight⦠not terrible but a surprise as I had intenddd for a little less of a workout legging and a little more of an everyday wear leggings..
So I went to cut out a second pair from a second 2 yard fabric that I got and realized this was way longer but thinner. Itāll be a pain but Iāll offset the leggings tk cut them properly. I couldnāt figure it outā¦. So I pulled the scraps out of my scrap pile⦠I flattened it out and measured it⦠what APPEAReD to be the selvage was 2 yards width fabric. What appeared to be the length was proper for a width.
It seems they made my 2 yard cut maybe from a blank, then put the ink/dye in as a printed fabric, and oddly, they decided to print it sideways. This explains the fact that itās not as stretchy as it should be in the right direction⦠it explains why it appeared I had not gotten a long enough cut as if purchased.
But Iām just not sure how they managed to print it up onto the fabric sideways. Looking at it, the edges that appear to be printed selvage are extremely wide⦠like the picture of the selvage that was printed into it was stretched out⦠and though a knit doesnāt have a problem with raveling, thatās the side that curls in⦠the edges thatās SHoULD have been the cut edge, on closet examination, have clear signs of a tighter weave/knit, as would be proper for the selvage.
If anyone has an idea how this happened⦠Iād be curious. Iām also considering contacting Robert Kaufman because Iām pretty sure they donāt print their fabric sideways and Iām wondering if this is being sold against their copyright⦠weāll see.
In the meantime, Iāve got a decent pair of leggings thatās stretchier longwise than around, which is a bit weird but at least so far itās not falling apart.
Hopefully the next pair will have less strangenissues
I was so excited to find this knit fabric with the cute newprint pattern I had been searching for. Well it arrived and I was completely disgusted by the super cheap look and feel of the fabric. It's very poor quality with very little stretch. It's the kind of fabric that would be used for the clothes you might find on a doll at the dollar store. I can't imagine anyone actually using it to make human clothing out of. Don't waste your time or money.
I ordered two yards to be cut as two yards. I received two 1 yard pieces. I'm 60 years old and have never had yardage cut this way. Very disappointed. I am sending it back as I cannot use it this way.
Looks good but not the kind of not the fabric for my need this time. Will be using this for a project in the future.
Very bad quality, this was for a gift and I cannot use it, so disappointed. It is like satin, barely any stretch, it is so bad. Do not buy.
Ambesonne Cherry Blossom fabric. Check size of print carefully. I bought this fabric to make face masks. The design is much larger than I expected! I would have rather the design be at least half the size it is. My fault.
I used this material to make face masks. It's a little hard to work with but it looks nice when finished!

These shirts are of good quality but some customers found the collar to be of low quality. Despite the package missing one shirt, they are easy to work with and the material is pleasing to clients. They are thicker than the Jen shirts and perfect for sublimation. The shirts are great for sublimation, soft, and take ink well. They are also true to size. Overall, these shirts are of great quality, especially for the price.
