What is a Dataset?
2 mins read - Created on Oct 30, 2025In Kimola, a Dataset refers to the raw text data that you upload manually or collect automatically through the Airset Browser Extension. Datasets include unprocessed information such as customer feedback, reviews, survey responses, or social media comments — the original text gathered before any analysis is performed.
Every dataset in Kimola represents data in its raw form. It has not been analysed or categorised yet, which can make it the foundation of your future reports and insights.
To view and manage your datasets in Kimola, sign in to your account and open your Dashboard. From the left menu, click Datasets to access all of your raw data collections.
Why Datasets Are Important
In Kimola, datasets act as a storage space for raw data — the information you’ve gathered from different sources.
This section is not where analysis happens; instead, it’s where your unprocessed data safely lives.
Within the Datasets section, you can:
- Download datasets to review or back them up externally,
- Delete datasets you no longer need,
- And for Airsets, directly create reports from the data collected with the Airset Browser Extension.
Keeping your datasets organized ensures you always have a clear overview of the raw data you’ve collected — ready to be turned into insights whenever you need.
