Manage Interpretations in a Report
2 mins read - Created on Feb 20, 2025Managing your interpretations in a report is key to customizing your insights and tailoring your data analysis to your specific needs. While you can edit or delete most interpretations, please note that the executive summary, buyer persona, and SWOT analysis interpretations are not editable or deletable. Here’s how to manage other interpretations step-by-step:
The executive summary interpretation is automatically generated as part of the report creation process, ensuring you always have a concise overview of your data analysis right from the start.
Edit or Delete Interpretations in a Report
1. Navigate to the Overview Page
Start by heading to the overview page, where your report interpretations are displayed.
2. Select the Interpretation
At the top of the page, you'll find a slider containing all interpretations. Browse through and select the interpretation you wish to edit or delete.

3. Edit an Interpretation
Step1: Upon selecting an interpretation, locate the edit icon (resembling a pencil) in the upper right corner of the interpretation box. Click the edit icon to open the editing window.

Step 2: Make the necessary changes to the interpretation text or details.

Step 3: Once you've made your edits, click the save button to apply and preserve your changes.
4. Delete an Interpretation
Step 1: If you wish to remove an interpretation, find the delete icon (depicted as a cross) in the upper right corner. Click the delete icon, prompting a confirmation window to appear.

Step 2: Confirm your decision by clicking "Yes, delete it" to permanently remove the interpretation. If you decide not to proceed, simply click the cancel button to abort the action.

5. Recreate Deleted Interpretations
Should you wish to recreate any interpretations you've deleted, ensure you have enough GPT credits, as each new interpretation uses one credit. Refer to our previous article, "Add Interpretations to a Report" for guidance on how to add interpretations back into your report.
By efficiently managing your interpretations, you have the power to shape your data narrative, ensuring it meets your strategic objectives and provides the clearest insights possible.
