Nic B. is the truth! Excellent customer service and he even brainstormed business names when I realized I couldn’t use the one I chose. This was my first time using Zen’s customer service and I have to say that I’m totally relieved knowing that any issue that arises will be handled swiftly and thoroughly.

I never leave reviews, but the experience I just had was upsetting enough that I felt I needed to share so I can save someone the extreme inconvenience I just experienced. I really wish I had believed the few negative reviews I read. I just received notification that my business was formed and then was charged an additional $199 for the Registered Agent service. From the information that was advertised that I *very* closely reviewed before purchasing ZenBusiness' services, this charge was INCLUDED in the Pro Package I paid for, which also included the state filing fee as well as EIN, allegedly totaling only to $324. I am extremely upset because this was very misleading and my checking account is now overdrawn since this is not what I budgeted for. Because this service was supposed to be included in the $324 I paid, I would really appreciate if that $199 could be refunded, as I was under the impression that I wouldn't be charged again until a year from now (since the RA service is annual and it appeared I already paid for this year). However, both agents that I spoke with (George over the phone and Shay/Shayla over chat) really didn't offer any solutions for me other than trying to send me off to another department to have my RA service canceled (I was trying to avoid that because I don't want to go through yet another waiting process; I went with ZenBusiness because things were supposed to be easy!). In fact, it felt like they were just regurgitating a pre-written script. To make matters more upsetting, I was told by Shayla that the department she forwarded my concern to would take 1-2 days to get back to me, and I consider this to be an urgent matter. There was no empathy or understanding, no apologies for the situation I'm now in, which makes me no longer want to be a customer at all. This is the most detached and robotic customer service I've ever received. I will be canceling my services with ZenBusiness altogether as soon as they follow up with me because I don't feel heard and, based off these exchanges this evening, have lost trust in this company. I have what I need to change my registered agent, so once all is squared away, I'll be moving on.

Zen business makes it easy to renew the business. Malcolm tried hard to be helpful when I called today. He did have some headset issues that required a return phone call which he executed promptly. He answered my questions and helped me navigate the site as needed. Thanks, Malcolm!

Kenya J, your customer service agent, was very knowledgeable, professional, and congenial. I had an unusual situation, with a few "moving parts." Kenya J made everything so easy and straightened everything out. She is wonderful!
STAY AWAY from ZenBusiness. They will state the process for an EIN (as long as SSN is provided) will only take 1-2 days and they will charge you for this "fast track process". In reality, they take three days to file with your state and then that takes up to a week or more. We have been waiting six days with no update on EIN creation. Legalzoom is much faster OR you can even do it yourself with the IRS and your state within two days AND save quite a bit of money. Also, their customer support will repeatedly copy and paste the same canned wording over and over versus actually providing support. If you don't care how long your LLC takes to get up and running, then maybe they are for you. But if you want your LLC set up quickly then STAY AWAY from Zenbusiness.
The representative was very respectful, clear and concise. Very knowledgeable about the situation in which I was calling for and took care of it immediately. We even had a couple laughs. I do appreciate the time and professionalism given to me today. Thank you so much.
