Villa Augustus in Dordrecht offers a unique dining experience in a converted watertower. The restaurant features a garden with fresh produce, and the menu offers a range of delicious food and wine. While the limited menu options may be a downside, the quality of the dishes including pizza, pasta, and desserts like cheesecake are highly recommended. The service can be slow during busy times. Overall, Villa Augustus is a must-visit for its beautiful setting and tasty food.

To keep it short - it was awful but like one of the worst experiences ever. It was inedible.
Even my daughter didn't touch the chocolate cake, and she loves chocolate.
And as a bonus two of us are now feeling awful from the food...we ate.More we ate.
Great spacious restaurant. Excellent service. Delicious food. Stay and check out the brunch. Its magnificent.
Great food.
Excellent polite service!!
Beautiful seeing the garden and tower, great use of space. Cannot recommend highly enough.
This was once a pumping station and retains it's industrial look. The shop and market are interesting and the garden is lovely to stroll round. Sunday, when we went, was busy but we had booked. We were not in a hurry and so didn't notice...More
Its like eating in an old school canteen. The food was average, but not that great. The drinking glasses were dirty.
I don't think you get good value for your money.
The garden is nice.
Villa Augustus, the market, the garden and the hotel is a must visit. We had a bottle of wine and a cheese board. Although the cheeses were tasty, it was literally 4 small pieces of cheese, on a small round side plate..and that was it....More
Lovely large place with good scenery. The atmosphere is good. I like that produce from the own garden is used. We had some lobsters - good but a bit chewy. The shrimp croquettes were however outstanding!
We went for lunch on a sunday afternoon.
It was quiet busy but we found a table.
After 10 minutes I walked to a waiter and asked for the menu and drinklist.
We orderd the drinks and food.
Another 10 minutes waiting and our drinks...More
A monumental 19th century watertower converted into a hotel. With a formal garden in the front. Divided from the huge restaurant by a vegetables-filled garden. The restaurant is located in a modernist forties building, also with a great terrace catering for sunny days. I always...More
First of all the choice on the Menu is very limited, as I can't eat fish, there is only very few selections left. I started with a salad which was okay. Then I choose Spaghetti Bolognaise because I did not feel like having a steak....More

A review of a hotel located outside the city center but with easy access to the metro. The hotel offers nice views, comfortable rooms, and good facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, some guests found the location inconvenient and the dining options expensive.
